As the Shade Lord tries to open his eyes, he feels all of his body is hurt, he thinks maybe it is because he slept in the wrong spot yesterday but when he opens his eyes he is met with the Abyss but something doesn't feel right
He gets up and looks around the abyss nothing changed in particular, but something just doesn't feel right. He looked up at the platform where the door out of the Abyss was and used his tendrils to support his way up there.
When he got up there, he was shocked to find the door was shut and the King's Brand was still there.
But it can't be, he destroys the seal on the door when he gets his way to the Abyss. So how come it is still there when it shouldn't be there?

What is going on here...
I think l can answer that for you.
The Shade Lord shot his head toward the voice that replied to him and found a weird two-leg bug.
Even though he was still confused, the Shade Lord immediately went on guard in case this strange bug suddenly attacked him.
"Now now, there no need for such hostility, l came in peace. I even put both my hands up"
Even after this weird bug had his hands up, that was not enough to convince The Shade Lord to just bring his guard down, all he knew she could be lying and attack him next. Plus he had never seen anybug look anything like her, weird color too, not like all the bug bodies he had seen this one is color tan?? What a weird color.
He decided to stop thinking and focus back on her, after sometime since she didn't attack him, he lowered his guard and proceeded to bring his face close to inspect her.
Again, what a weird bug. But his thought was cut short as she talked.
"I know you are confused but who blames you, being brought from the future to the past was not your everyday daily"
Now this made all eight of The Shade Lord's eyes wide open
"What did you just say?..."
Then this weird bug decides to smirk at him.
"You heard what l says, you wished and l granted it, simple"
The Shade Lord is silent for a second before replying to her with "Why?"
"Chuckle, well let's just say you pique my interest with your wish and.... I would like to join you on this quest"
The Shade Lord eyes her with caution and thinks how weird she is.
"I promise l will not do anything that will harm either you or your siblings, so can l come with you?"
She says with a face full of hope, you can even see a sparkling star around her face.
The Shade Lord is brainstorming right now, he has yet to decide whether he should let her join him or not. But consider she the one that granted his wish and doesn't look like she will harm him or his siblings.
The Shade Lord finally sighs as he looks at her.
"Fine you can join me"
"Yeah!!"
"But if you ever try to harm my siblings l promise you. Y̴͖̔̕o̸̰͌̈û̶̹ ̶͍͠ǵ̸̻ő̵͓͎ȋ̴̹̟n̴̿ͅḡ̴͕̳͑ ̶͖̩̊͂t̸̬̋͝ǫ̵̩́͛ ̴̍͜r̷̮̩͌͒e̸̬̎́͜g̷̱͈͗̂r̸͔͍̈́̈e̴̪͒t̴̨͔̐́ ̷̟̽̈́i̷̯̊ẗ̵͓́"
He says as his tendrils become sharp and pointing at her
"Don't worry l would never do that, plus...."
They both looked at each other intensely
"THEY WERE SO CUTE!!"
The Shade Lord was shocked to hear that since vessel was known to be pests or creepy because of the void in them, but she found it cute. She is a weird bug.
"Okay, okay you can stop your screaming now"
"Oh, sorry. I don't realize that l fangirling, so I'm in right?"
"Yes, yes you are"
This made her jump around before prosed to hug his face making him startled at first but just let her be.
"Okay we need to get out of here first, if we want to start saving my siblings, but l need to do something about this body of me"
They both think before she snaps her finger.
"Why don't you imagine your body became smaller or imagine your body before became like this"
"That's not a bad idea, let me try it"
Then The Shade Lord focuses on his mind trying to imagine his body before becoming The Shade Lord and little by little he can feel his body shrinking, then he opens his eyes to find he is back into his little Ghost body but taller maybe a little before Hornet. He was about to look for a response from that weird bug only to find a vessel standing when that weird bug was standing.

She walks past Shade but stops when she is beside him
"I can do a lot of things"
She says with a smile, as she walks past him.
"You talk void?!"
She chuckles
"Now come on, we have little siblings to look for..... And you can call me Nyx"
She says as she walks to the end of the platform, Ghost is standing there having a little shock before he also joins her to look below the platform into the abyss below.
"You can feel that right."
"Yeah,.... there four that are still alive"
"Then what are we waiting for,?"
She says as she jumps down into the abyss, Shade then follows her lead
