As Jae-min entered the classroom, the low murmur of conversation died down, replaced by a hushed curiosity that hung heavy in the air. His classmates turned to look at him, their eyes wide with speculation, but Jae-min kept his gaze fixed on the floor as he made his way to his desk.
"Hey, Jae-min, where did you disappear to?" a girl with curly hair and glasses who goes by the name Ye-bin called out, her voice tinged with concern.
Beside her, a boy with a mop of unruly hair nodded in agreement, his brow furrowed in confusion. "Yeah, we were confused when you just stood up and left like that."
But Jae-min said nothing, his lips pressed into a thin line as he ignored their questions completely. He could feel their eyes boring into him, their curiosity like a weight pressing down on his shoulders, but he refused to give them the satisfaction of a response.
some things he preferred to keep to himself. With a shared shrug, they turned their attention back to their textbooks, leaving Jae-min to his thoughts. But despite their best efforts to ignore the elephant in the room, the tension hung thick between them, a silent barrier that stretched from one end of the classroom to the other. Jae-min could feel the weight of their curiosity bearing down on him, a constant reminder of the secrets he harbored and the walls he had built to keep them hidden.
As Jae-min settled into his seat, the minutes ticked by, the classroom slowly fell into a semblance of normalcy, the steady rhythm of pencils scratching against paper filling the air. But for Jae-min, the calm was only temporary, a fleeting respite from the storm that raged inside him.
With a heavy sigh, Jae-min leaned back in his chair, his eyes fixed on the clock ticking away on the wall. He knew that he couldn't avoid his classmates' questions forever,as they would grow nosy soon enough and start pissing him off.
Joon-ho's pov.
Joon-ho's frustration simmered just beneath the surface as he returned to the classroom, his mind consumed by thoughts of Jae-min. He couldn't shake the feeling of unease that had settled in the pit of his stomach, couldn't quell the rising tide of anger that threatened to consume him whole. As he took his seat, Joon-ho's gaze drifted to the window, his eyes fixating on the empty expanse of sky beyond. But no matter how hard he tried to distract himself, Jae-min's face loomed large in his mind, a constant reminder of the unanswered questions that gnawed at him from within.
Unable to contain his frustration any longer, Joon-ho's hand curled into a tight fist, his nails digging into his palm as he fought to keep his emotions in check. But the pressure built with each passing moment, a relentless drumbeat that echoed in his ears until it threatened to drown out all rational thought. And then, without warning, the dam burst.
With a primal roar of rage, Joon-ho's fist collided with the nearest wall, the impact sending shockwaves rippling through the room. The sharp crack of bone meeting concrete echoed in the silence, a stark reminder of the violence that simmered just beneath the surface.
But Joon-ho merely stared back at them, his eyes dark and unfathomable, a silent storm raging within him. He could feel their concern like a weight pressing down on his shoulders, their words of sympathy falling on deaf ears as he struggled to contain the tempest within.
The other students turned to look, their eyes wide with shock as they took in the scene before them. Some whispered amongst themselves, casting furtive glances in Joon-ho's direction, while others simply stared in stunned silence, unsure of what to make of the sudden outburst.
But Joon-ho paid them no mind, his attention focused solely on the object of his obsession. Jae-min's image burned bright in his mind's eye, a tantalizing puzzle that begged to be solved, and with each passing moment, Joon-ho's determination to ruin Jae-min grew.
,Joon-ho's friends exchanged bewildered glances, their expressions a mix of concern and disbelief.
"Whoa, what the fuck, man?" The taller one known as Min-seok exclaimed, his eyes wide with shock as he took in the scene before him."Goddamn are you sure you aren't gay for Jae-min at this point" another chimed in by the name Hye-jin, his voice laced with sarcasm as he approached Joon-ho cautiously. But Joon-ho merely stared back at them, his eyes dark and unfathomable, a silent storm raging within him.
"Shut up," he muttered, his voice low and dangerous as he brushed past his friends, his jaw set in a steely grimace. His friends exchanged nervous glances, unsure of how to proceed in the face of Joon-ho's obvious distress. They knew better than to push him when he was in one of his moods, knew that his temper could be as unpredictable as a summer storm.
He could feel their concern like a weight pressing down on his shoulders, their words of sympathy falling on deaf ears as he struggled to contain the tempest within.
As he nursed his injured hand, a cold smile twisted Joon-ho's lips, a glint of madness dancing in his eyes. He knew that he was treading dangerous ground, knew that his obsession with Jae-min bordered on the edge of sanity. But he couldn't stop now, not when he was so close to getting what he wanted.
And so, with a reluctant nod, they fell into step behind him, their voices hushed as they trailed after him.---
End of the dayAnd as the bell rang out, signaling the end of yet another day, Jae-min rose from his seat and slipped out of the classroom, his mind already racing with thoughts of what lay ahead.
