Everyone was just doing the usual things that they'd do. No pro...
Ruby was passed out in bed, that is until the alarm went off. "YAY!!! TODAY'S THE DAY!!!" She shouts. "Everyone wake up! It's Flower's birthday! WAKE UP!!!"
"Ruby, can you not shout in my ear 7:00 in the morning?" Lollipop said. Ruby ran outside. As soon as she saw Flower, she raced right up to her and gave her the biggest hug.
"Aw, thanks buddy!" Flower gave her a small kiss on the head.
"Alright, lovebirds. Are we going to get this party started or what?" Lollipop said with a little annoyance in her voice. Flower nodded as she rolled her eyes. Not everyone was actually awake (surprisingly).
Pretty soon everyone was up, but someone was missing?
"Taco." Lollipop said. "You're too short to do a head count." Ruby looked upset.
"I knew that..." She said crossing her arms. "Now, does anyone actually know where she is?" Blocky suddenly perked his head up.
"She wasn't feeling good when we tried to wake her up, so we left her." Blocky said. "I didn't really know what to do in the moment. So are we starting this party or what?" Then a door burst open.
"Oh! H-Hey guys!" Taco did look quite sick. "I promised I'd be part of the event, sick or not."
"No, Taco. Get some rest. Just take the day off today. You aren't in good shape." Taco looked a bit upset. "I know you want to help, but like this you-"
"I can help! Just let me..." Taco still sounded a bit tired. "I'll be fine."
Flower just shrugged and smiled. "Okay. Fine."
*A few hours had passed and the decorations were hung.*
Lollipop runs out in a hurry. "Who the hell left this jar open?!" It said "Sugar" on the front. "I think Ruby got to it because she just made a hole in the door.
Then they heard a loud metal bang coming from the direction of Ruby.
"Owwww..." Ruby sighed and saw a canister that said "Caution: Substance Not Tested. DO NOT TOUCH."
Ruby apparently didn't read it. The white goo started leaking out onto the grass. "What's this..?" Ruby said, while putting her foot in it.

"RUBY, DON'T-" She had put her foot in the substance. About 10 seconds later she fell to the ground.
"Ruby? Are you okay?!" Flower then noticed a smile forming on her face, but it's unnatural. It got wider. Flower then backed up, feeling a bit anxious.
Ruby then finally got up. "Ruby? You there?" Little did she know, it was already too late...

"Ruby?" One last time before she attempted to bite Flower.
"Thats not Ruby, Flower." Lollipop said. "That's not Ruby in there, at least."
"Don't you want to smile, too?!" Ruby is different now. She is now truly...

About time I released this! This is just the Prologue, so there's not much else I can say.
