Grief is a strange thing.

It's like a wave that crashes into you over and over. Some days, you're fine. But other days, your lungs fill, and you can't breathe. The darkness enfolds you, and no light appears to guide you back to safety. All you can do is let it consume you and hope that air will fill your lungs again.

Farrow lost her wife, Amelia, to cancer a few months after they got married. They knew it was coming. They had known the entire time they had been together that Farrow would lose her. But Farrow never expected how dark her life would feel after her.

So when she befriends a man named John, also known as Kryoz, she never thought his friends would be the ones to pull her out of the dark. Or that she would find love again.

A/N:

Hello!
As this is a real person fic, I'll be trying to make this as respectful as possible. This means: no smut and a few of the lads will be referred to by their channel names.

This is a slow-burn romance, and when I say that, I mean it.

This book does have some mature themes, it concentrates a lot on grief and trauma. So please be nice about Farrow and how she deals with things as some of her trauma(childhood/family) and most of her behaviour/mental health issues are based on my own.

None of the original characters have face-claims, but all of them have defining features that are mentioned repeatedly. They are all Queer and specific sexualities are mentioned for each of them. (Under their names are the usernames they use for their social media)

Will all that being said, I hope you enjoy the book(there will be lots of fluff, and laughs, cause Farrow is chaotic).
