**Villain Rehabilitation Program - Part Five**
Bakugo sat on the bleachers of the U.A. training field, watching Hex run through a series of drills. It had been a few weeks since the Villain Rehabilitation Program had started, and while the tension between heroes and villains hadn't completely dissolved, there was a sense of cautious cooperation in the air.
Hex's movements were precise and calculated, his Quirk manipulating probabilities to navigate through the obstacle course with ease. Bakugo couldn't help but be impressed, even if he wouldn't admit it out loud. There was a quiet confidence in Hex's actions that reminded him of the Deku he once knew, the one who always found a way to adapt and overcome.
As Hex finished the course, Bakugo hopped off the bleachers and walked over, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "Not bad, for a villain," he remarked, crossing his arms.
Hex rolled his eyes, but there was a hint of amusement in his expression. "Coming from you, I'll take that as a compliment."
Bakugo snorted, a low chuckle escaping him. It was a small moment, but it felt like progress. The awkwardness between them was slowly fading, replaced by a sense of camaraderie. They weren't quite back to being friends, but they were no longer enemies either.
As they walked back toward the school, Bakugo decided to push the boundaries a bit. "You know, you should come to the cafeteria with the rest of us. It's not like you're going to bite anyone."
Hex hesitated, his steps faltering. "I don't think that's a good idea. A lot of people here still don't trust me, and I don't blame them."
Bakugo shrugged. "So what? You can't spend all your time hiding in the shadows. If you want to be part of this program, you have to make an effort." He paused, then added, "Besides, we're having katsudon today. You always loved that stuff, didn't you?"
Hex raised an eyebrow, a flicker of nostalgia crossing his features. "Katsudon, huh? It's been a while."
"Yeah, and you're missing out," Bakugo replied, a grin spreading across his face. "So what do you say? Come eat with us, or are you afraid of a little social interaction?"
Hex glanced around, his eyes scanning the training field. The other members of Class 1-A were gathering, laughing, and talking as they headed back to the school. It was a familiar scene, one that he'd missed more than he'd realized.
"Fine," Hex said with a sigh. "But if anyone gives me trouble, I'm blaming you."
Bakugo laughed, slapping Hex on the back. "Deal. Now, hurry up. I'm not saving you any katsudon if you're late."
As they walked back to the cafeteria, Hex felt a sense of warmth he hadn't experienced in a long time. It was a small step, but it was a step toward rebuilding the connections he'd lost. The path ahead would be challenging, and there would be moments of doubt, but with Bakugo by his side, he felt a glimmer of hope.
In the cafeteria, the other students gave Hex curious looks, but Bakugo's presence seemed to ease the tension. They found a table, and soon enough, the laughter and chatter from the rest of the class enveloped them. For a moment, it felt like old times, and Hex couldn't help but smile.
Bakugo leaned back in his chair, watching Hex as he cautiously joined the conversation. It wasn't perfect, and it wouldn't be easy, but he knew they were on the right track. The Villain Rehabilitation Program had given them a second chance, and he was determined to make the most of it. With Hex's humor and intelligence back on display, it felt like they were finally starting to find their way forward—together.
**Villain Rehabilitation Program - Part Six**
The sun began to set over the U.A. High School campus, casting long shadows across the training grounds. Bakugo and Hex stood side by side, watching the other members of Class 1-A as they finished their final drills for the day. The atmosphere was lighter now, with fewer glares directed at Hex and more cautious nods of acknowledgment. Slowly but surely, he was finding his place among them.
