The meet

you walk onto the train endlessly scrolling on your phone basically looking straight at the floor. When you bump into someoneand spill your coffee on yourself you look up stuttering while trying to apologise
"It's fine don't worry" You say staring at him

"need any help? " he replies with a kind tone.
"Uhhh no but thanks" you say while putting your headphones in.

10:50

You take a seat on the train and realise the person you bumped into earlier sits next to you and taps your shoulder
"hey still sorry about earlier anything I can do to make it up" he says clearly very anxious

"Ummmm you could buy me a coffee?"
You reply in a confused but joking way

"Sure" he says smiling "give me your number I'll send you money via Apple Pay unless you don't have that"

"okay" you say quite confused

after exchanging numbers you both put your headphones on and stop talking

The next day

*ping*

you pick up your phone realising you got a message from the dude

You just arrived at the coffee shop and see Max sitting in the corner of the shop

"Hey Ash"

"Hi Max"

"Sooooooo how are you"

"I'm good how are you"

"Good aswell so what do you want"

You pick up the menu and start looking through all the different things

"I recommend the salted caramel cappuccino"

"Ok I'll get that"

Max stands up and walks over to the counter and orders

As he walks back both of your phones ping as you both get the same notification

As max sits down you ask him

"So what sort of music do you listen to"

After an awkward few second pause

"I like some dude called Harry Rock he does indie rock"

"Oh do you watch his streams aswell"

"Yeah I do" he says as the waiter picks up our coffees and starts walking over

The waiter walks over holding two coffees and puts them on the table

You say at the same time

*you finish your coffees say goodbye to eachother and leave*

the realisation

you reply to Harry's tweet and watch the stream but you see one dating profile that looks similar

"Yoooo it's max" you gasp quietly

Harry then says "first of all saying you stream on a dating profile is a shitty idea..."

You think then quickly search up that up. Wait wait wait max streams you see and follow his twitter and twitch and when he goes live the next day you watch it and text him *max's phone pings on his stream*
