"Ah, that day should be approaching soon, right?" The woman asked. Sitting in a marble tub full of warm water, she stared at the ceiling, and her feet hung over the edge.

"After that day passes, I'll be able to live my life to the fullest." I nodded to myself and rose from the tub water. 'It'll be nice. After all, I would like to see the main character before the war starts.'

In the first volume of [Birth Of A Hero], [F/n] Henituse was a background character only having a couple of sentences of time in the novel. All of which only explained her background, what house she came from, and who her spouse was.

The count's trash: Cale Henituse, also...

'My current husband.' I deadpanned, wrapping a towel around my body.

As said in the novel, Cale Henituse was consistently drunk, and one faithful day it all came back to bite him in the arse. He got drunk and became violent by a chance encounter, he met the main protagonist, Choi Han. And was beaten to a pulp.

"This doesn't count as cheating right?" I sweatdropped, stepping out of the washroom. 'No way it can, right? Besides that was my past life, after all, it's not like I truly am in love with this man.'

That's right; I was only using this man for my own benefit. Of course, it's cruel to use a man, but the original [F/n] married Cale, and to me he's nothing but a character mentioned in a book 一 because that's what he was.

While I know some snippets of the Novel, I'm not fully aware of the extent of this book. So, in my situation, it's better to continue playing the role of a background character. To me, it means my life isn't in danger in getting involved with the main cast. Therefore, this means I don't have to change the novel in any way.

Plus, my husband, Kim Rok Soo, was the one who read it up till the sixth volume, not me. I was too busy reading romance novels and fanfictions to bring my full attention to this book I'm in right now. Had I known this, I would've concentrated more on the damn thing.

Sighing I shut my eyes and dipped my hands into cold water before I splashed it onto my face.

"Let's get ready... to slack off." I snickered, ringing the bell to call for servants to help dress me.

Many may think I should try finding something to protect myself before the war starts... But, I see no meaning in doing so.

"We are finished, my lady." The maids bowed in unison. "We-we shall take our leave." The one speaking cowered in fear.

I nodded and waved the rest off before stopping the last maid. "Wait. Have Ron bring tea to my chambers."

"Y-yes?" The maid nodded and left the room quickly.
