He ran.

He ran for his life as footsteps followed close behind. Panting heavily and holding the briefcase close to his chest, he ran around the city blindly. Hoping to find some sort of escape but instead finding himself pinned against a wall, he accepted his fate. He could barely breath. The air froze and his heart could leap out of his chest. He turned around and was met by his doom.

He saw the man. The man that wore a suit. The man who had a smile.

The man who had a gun.

Time stopped as they looked into each others' eyes. All that could be heard was the soft pitter- patter of raindrops. Suddenly, a bang  fill the air. The man dropped dead with hot blood splattering everywhere. The man with the gun chuckled which then turned to a hysterical laugh as he picked up the briefcase.

"Another job done" he said to himself before turning around and fleeing the crime.
