Why?

It was late at night, around two am, it was dark, only the street lights gave a bit of brightness to the night

Cairo was walking down the street, you might ask, why? Why is she out so late?

Well, simple explanation, she wanted to make sure that her ex-girlfriend got home safely after a night out with her friends

yes, ex-girlfriend, they used to date, but Cc broke up with Cairo, she never told Cairo why, she never got an answer to her question...

Cairo was following her from a distance, not wanting to be caught

There's nothing weird in this, right? She's just looking out for her

No, it's not weird at all.

Cairo thought as she watched Cc make her way into her house, knowing she got home safely

Cairo walked to the other side of the road, there were no lights, her clothes were black for a reason

She was barely visible in the dark night...

She watched as Cc was greeted by her boyfriend...

She always hated him, Cairo had a weird feeling about him, she didn't know why, but she would get her answers

Cairo saw them going into the bedroom and soon the lights were turned off

The brunette bit her lip and was annoyed, she used to sleep in that bed with her, and now he had taken her place...

Cairo did not like that.

The brunette stood there for a while and waited for them to be fully asleep, before walking over to the gate, how unfortunate, Cc left it open as she walked in

For Cairo? It was fortunate, she didn't need to climb the damned fence again

She carefully closed it before walking over and entering the house, she had a key to the house, Cairo always had a key to it

She took her shoes off after she entered the house, everything was dark and quiet

Cairo looked around, it's been ages since she's been in this house

As she looked around, she saw a picture of her and Cc on the wall, she remembered taking that picture

Even hanging it on the wall

"Why would you still have this?" Cairo asked herself quietly and ran her hand over the picture

But this isn't what she came for, she snapped out of it and began looking around

She looked in the drawer and found some papers, It was about his man, it was a job application

Cairo smirked and took a picture of the papers

"We'll see if you get it or not" She mumbled to herself and put them back in the drawer before continuing to look around

Sadly she found nothing much, though Cairo found this wallet and took pictures of his cards, now she had almost every personal information about him

She got what she came for, Cairo made her way out of the house after putting her shoes back on

Cairo took one last look at the bedroom before leaving, closing the gate and leaving

After that, she went home...

There was nothing weird about this, right?

Cc woke up the next day with a light headache, her boyfriend was next to her, still sleeping

But they both had to work, so he woke him up with a soft kiss on his cheek

He was a light sleeper that's why it only took one kiss to wake him

"Come on, we have to work" Cc had a job, while Robert was going to apply for a job today hoping to get it, after being fired from his last

They both got out of bed, Cc took a shower while Robert got ready

"You look handsome" Cc said as she fixed his tie around his neck, before he could respond

He felt his phone vibrating in his pocket

Cc raised an eyebrow, Rob looked at it and was shocked

"What?!" He grasped his phone and didn't believe his eyes at all

"What? What happened?" Cc asked looking confused

"All of my money is gone from my account! There's nothing there!" Cc felt her heart picking up the pace

"But how?" He shooked his head not knowing how this happened

Cc was clueless and so was her boyfriend

"How am I supposed to go to my interview?! There's no gas in the car! Not enough to get me there!" Cc rubbed her eyes with her right hand trying to think of something

"Use my card, I'll give it to you" They both went downstairs where Cc gave him the card

"I need to go, but I'll see you later, I'm gonna go to the bank after and ask what's this about" Cc nodded and watched the man leave after putting his coat and shoes on

The blonde sighed and sat down to eat some breakfast

Cairo was at home, she transferred all the money from Rob's account to a random drug dealer's account, since she knew that a drug dealer won't complain about getting money

She left no tracks about this transfer at all.

"Where are you going?" Cairo asked as she saw the car moving from the driveway

"Let's see about that interview" Cairo dialed up the number of the company and asked to speak with the boss

Which was surprisingly fast, She almost immediately got connected to him, it usually takes a lot of time

"Hello, I'm calling because of Robert Gillian, I believe he's on his way there for a job interview" The man on the other end hummed

"Yes, why? Is there something wrong?" He asked in a serious tone

"Well, I'm his ex-girlfriend, I don't think you'd want to get someone on your team who's abusing women and taking advantage of them" The man was surprised

"Of course not, he was abusing you?" He asked in a concerned tone

Cairo made herself fake cry, trying to make it realistic

"Y-Yes" She stuttered on purpose, He groaned and bit his lip

"Thank you for informing me, Take care, goodbye" Cairo heard him hang up, She smiled and wiped the fake tear away

Then since it was a flip phone, she broke it apart and dropped it in a glass of water

Robert finally got there to the job interview just in time, he got gas and there was a lot of traffic but he got there in time

They let him into the building

"I'm here for a job interview, Robert Gillian" The woman behind the counter nodded and told him where to go

Rob walked into a room where was no one there yet, soon a man entered the room and they shooked hands, he was the boss

"Robert Gillian, nice to meet you-" The man looked at him with wide eyes

"Sorry, You're not getting the job" Robert was confused, they talked on the phone multiple times everything seemed fine

"Get out before I call security!" The boss said in a stern tone, Robert was confused but quickly stood up and left

Not wanting to be dragged out by security...

"What the fuck is happening" He asked himself as he stepped out of the building and lit up a cigarette

Cairo smiled to herself as she looked at Cc's social media, she still hadn't taken down the pictures of them together...

Was she still attached to her? Cairo didn't know, but she will find it out...

One way or another.......
