Chapter 3

Jisoo's POV

I decided to take a good look at my surroundings, I sat down on a sofa near a tiny glass table and gazed at the walls and ceiling. It was breathtaking, the walls were lined with beautiful portraits of jungles, rain forests, meadows, and wild animals. There were also patterns on the walls, all nature related I think.

There was a huge, shiny crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling, the chandelier reflected the light coming through from the windows. It sparkled here and there as it swayed slightly right and left because of the air conditioner's wind.

I looked at the windows and saw that there were also patterns on the window sills, golden flowers crisscrossing with vines and thorns. I saw a sign and walked over to the window to inspect it, it said "Too remember the mistress of nature, the owner of this hotel decided to paint flowers, thorns and vines for on the window sills.Flowers  represent the crown of flowers in the mistress's hair, thorns for her sharp eyes and attitude, and vines for her love for nature. She is known to be one of the kindest and most beautiful people in the world, she also loves animals and trees more than anything else.

She had once saved a magnificent white deer with majestic white antlers from a forest fire, she had heard it moaning from a short distance away from the woods. She bravely entered the burning forest and saved its life, she got hurt during the process, but somehow the deer healed her. It then disappeared into her body and she changed, she had crisp white hair and smooth skin, her eyes were greener than the greenest leaves in the forest, her lips redder than the ripest of apples, ears sharp like an elves or fairy's.

She then became known as the mistress of nature, for her bravery, and love to all spirits and nature. Some people say she still lives, deep inside the forest where travelers had never come across, where people had never seen or heard of before. Some say that it's just a childish story for entertainment, but most still believe in it."

I felt more confident and powerful after reading that, finally a female hero that was respected by all the people around the world. Me and my sisters had been trying hard to prove that women can be just as brave and powerful as men, but no one ever listened, no one ever cared about us.

I walked back to the sofa and sat down, I thought about the Mistress Of Nature and relaxed a little, thinking of what she looks like and what her voice sounds like. I suddenly tensed up, all the hairs on my neck stood up. I know this feeling, I feel this when someone, or several someones with an extremely powerful aura enters the room I am in.

I looked up to see 3 handsome men, about my age enter the room. They were all dressed in black from head to toe, they all reminded me of the men who had killed my parents, but they weren't the only ones. People whispered and stared as they made their across the room towards me, I was afraid that they were going to do something to me, but they just sat on the sofa directly opposite me.

I shook my head and sighed, why do I have to be so paranoid all the time? They don't even know who I am, so why am I afraid of them? Maybe it was just because of the memory that my parents were killed by mafias, that was all, but I still couldn't shake off the feeling that they were some threat or whatever. Never mind, maybe it's because that I am going to meet a big mafia group and it's just getting on my nerves.

A tall man had led the other two men into the room, so I was assuming that he was their leader. I took a good look at their badges on their shirt pockets, but couldn't make out what exactly was embroidered on it. It looked like HYDE or something, then I noticed the time, if I didn't get going now I would be late for my meeting.

I walked across the room to a long hallway, the walls were mirrors, so everything around me reflected and it was exceptionally bright. I was surprised when I heard footsteps behind me, I looked into the mirror and , heart almost stopped when I saw 7 men in the passage behind me, 3 of them were the ones that had sat on the sofa opposite me. What were they doing here? And were they going to do something to her? I suddenly felt dizzy and nauseous, I clung to the wall and tried to hold myself up, then my vision clouded and everything went dark.

P.S: I really wish I could I unhear something I heard today. The bois in my class are very rude, they speak as if they're adults. Today I heard a boy named Ray say to another boy named Leo " Hey do you wanna eat my d!ck?" I literally spat my strawberry goat's milk back into the bottle. Leo looked at him like what the actual fuck? And then said "fuck no you idiot". I don't know how I survived a semester with these boys...luckily, it was only a semester, I transferred here last year. Wish me luck on my second semester! <3
