"The letter arrived, as I expected." Kaveh thought, not knowing it was his last one from Alhaitham. Kaveh opened the letter, wondering why there was a faint smell of blood, as he opened it he saw the white paper dirtied with Alhaitham's blood? He was shocked, although he still read it, it was saying
"I hope you see this, my dearest kaveh, as this is my last letter for you, I'm sorry, I failed to die beside you like I promised. I love you, Kaveh."
Kaveh started to tear up as he read it, realizing that then and there, he wasn't able to confess his love for him anymore, as the blood and his tears are "hugging" each other, as that is now the only way they can hug each other. He decides to draw Alhaitham one last time but, he forgot his face, only Alhaitham's voice saying "I love you." for the last time as Kaveh cries, holding the paper with his tears on it, giving up.
