Chapter 5

Narrator POV

At the current time at The Mato Gates that do not disappear have a fixed entrance and exit. The gate located at the 5th Unit's dorm connects to Yamagata. Toji was standing in the place wearing black bomber and white undershirt while black cargo pants and high boots. He kept his hair in a man bun and waited for Kyouka.

It was their Day Off and Kyouka asked to come with her somewhere. He already knew where she was taking him and appreciated that she began to trust him and waited  outside the Yamagata Gate's building.

After a few minutes and then finally she came and she looked beautiful. She wore a floral pattern shirt with a white skirt and black leggings.She wore her usual ear accessories and had a small purse which matched with her outfit and black heels.

Kyouka "Sorry for the wait"

Toji:" No Worries I Should Be Honored That A Pretty Lady Made Some Time For Me"

Toji teases her giving a cheesy line while Kyouka blush hearing the compliment never been one to be affected by them especially when she was still in school would have people courting her but rejected them and felt unfazed when they complimented her.

Kyouka:"You…."

Toji:"Hahaha I can't help it but seriously, you look great in that."

She nodded still flustered from his words and took a deep breath before returning to composed herself.

Kyouka:"We'll go by train. I'll enter you as my partner."

She said with a small happy smile and Toji wanted to tease her more but decided not to. As for the partner she's talking about, it is an ID that only women can issue to a single man. When a man accompanying a woman has this ID, special privileges are granted to them.

They were on the women's train and he was sitting next to Kyouka who was resting with her head down.

While Toji Was Seeing a Text From His Grandfather Since Where There Heading Is Pretty Close To His Grandfather's Home He Planned On Visiting

Kyouka:"You've been pretty calm considering this is your first time in women's transportation."

Kyouka was still awake and was just resting, making sure to preserve her energy.

Toji:"Nah I Don't Usually Go Here I just Ran it's good for exercise"

She just looked at him and sighed then took a moment until she said something.

Kyouka:"Right, I haven't apologized but I'm sorry that you had to become our caretaker and turn into my slave."

She apologized that he ended up a caretaker since she couldn't make him join her squad

Toji:" I Don't Hate It I Expected Not Being a Real Member From The Start What's a Mang Going To Provide In The Front lines"

Kyouka:" Even Though You're Strong"

Toji:" The only thing to do is prove my strength"

Kyouka: "....I thought you're frustrated with you being treated like a manservant and you don't seem to be the type to be boss around."

Toji:"Well if they are stuck up bitch then I will retaliate but you aren't one plus I can see that you really Care about everyone including Me That's Why I don't hate Being A Caretaker"

He is not a self righteous fool who decides what's right or wrong only

Kyouka:"Is that so, then thank you."

Toji:"You're welcome."

Kyouka:"...by the way, I've reported about you to the other and I tried to get permission to let you join but the Commander refused"
