"Good morning prodigies!" Dame Alina called making Flora jump.
"What the friggle diggle" they whispered making us all laugh.
"Now for the morning announcements! we have four new students develop abilities yesterday!" she beams at the students.
"Oh and where is she, ah there" Flora freezes as a spotlight shines on her.
"We have a new prodigy! This is Florence everyone please make her feel welcome!" Flora scowled at the use of their full name.
"That's all from me happy learning!" Dame Alina smiled before her beaming face disappeared.
"Happy learning!" Marella mocks "Yeah no thanks" she rolls her eyes.
Students were whispering around us staring at Flora.
"I swear if they don't stop looking at me I'm gonna put a gun in my mouth" Flora muttered.
"W-what's a gun?" Dex askes.
"Don't worry about it" Flora rolls her eyes.
"Whatcha got first Flo?" Sophie askes.
"Fuckin... alchemy with what's-her-face" she sighs.
"Yeesh good luck with lady Galvin" Keefe says.
"Wait what?" Flora looks up at him suddenly scared.
"Don't worry can't be worse than Sophie" Dex smiles.
"What did you do?" Flora asks curiously.
"Nothing!" she says at the same time as Marella says "burned her cape to smithereens"
"Ha no way! That's so iconic" Flora laughs.
"Yeah it was awesome!" Fitz jumped in.
Sophie hid her face in her hands.
"Oh soph" Flora shook her head smiling and wrapping her arm around Sophie's shoulders.
"Alrighty lets get you to your locker" Keefe smiles and clap his hands together.
"Sure, later cutie" Flora winks at me and pulls her arm from Sophie as Keefe snickers and leads her away.
"Bye" I called back blushing.
"Ooooo" Marella teases making kissy noises as Fitz turns around angrily following behind Keefe and Flora.
"Ah gay people" Sophie smiles as stares off as if she's day dreaming.
"You guys are strange" Dex rolls his eyes.
"You're just jealous no one calls you cutie" Marella giggled.
"What no!" Dex blushed as we laughed at him.
"Whatever" he crossed his arms as we began walking to the Atrium.
"Ugh I don't wanna do stupid ability detecting" Marella crossed her arms.
"Oh I feel that" I said and Dex nodded.
"I'm so jealous Sophie! You don't have to do stupid ability detecting" Dex pouted.
"O-oh uhm" Sophie stuttered "Sorry?"
Marella and I laughed as Dex continued to pout.
