I stare in shock as she tells me what she's here for. But in my head I'm thinking, why is a beautiful girl like her here for trying to end her life. Her small petite hands snap in front of my face taking me out of my trance. She shrugs her shoulder as if she's had this reaction a million times already.
We keep walking and we eventually reach her new dorm room. Like everything in this institution, her room is a boring shade of white with lilac blue stripes covering everything. She laughs darkly and her eyes dart to mine then back to floor as if she did something wrong. I pick her chin up with my index finger, and bring her dark gray-green eyes to my chocolate brown ones.
The door slams and I'm assuming her room mate comes in and smirks at our position. I scratch the back of my neck out of habit and step back a little.
"So your the suicidal chick I got to room with?" She asks Dani. Dani simply nods and her gaze falls to the floor.
"I'm Skylar but you can call me Sky. And you are?....." She says to her and brings her hands up to Dani signaling a handshake.
"I'm Danielle but you can call me Dani. What are you in for, since you obviously know why I'm here?" She says with a hint of annoyance present in her voice. She smirks in victory as Skylar's shoulders drop at her tone.
"Same as you, but isn't everybody. What about you?" She points to me.
She rolls up her sleeves and all I see are what you would expect from any person in rehab. Cuts. Scars.
Then I look at Dani and she shifts on her feet uncomfortably. I reach over and roll up her sleeves and she has the same. Except hers look fresh. It breaks me inside seeing these..... marks on her arm.
I kiss her scars and she blushes extremely hard making me grin. Hen roll up my sleeves.
"Guess we all need a little help, huh"
