He sunk himself into the sofa , he knew she couldn't to anything to him now but he still felt frightened.
Her steps made an incoherent pace , as she often stumbled from time to time ,as to be expected she fell down and all she could do was giggle as she muttered to herself .

She said those words not too loud but loud enough for him to hear .

He got up , he altleast had the decency to lay her in the bed .
He stood up and carried her from the floor and set her in the bed as she babbled words that didn't make any sense.
The moment her head hit the pillow she succumbed to slumber .
