Hours after Ruiki Voldigoad's Assault.
________________Everyone had finally managed to get some rest. Namely the large group consisting of; Zara, Kama, Zana, Koya, Kura, Hoshi, Kagune and Kotone.
However that time of rest came to an end a few hours after Ruiki had regained consciousness.
"Is that a giant scorpion?" Kama mused, watching a group of adventurers get chased by the restless creature.
"Honestly, better than being chased by a massive caterpillar." Zara stated, his expression complex.
In all honesty, neither of them were interested in assisting the group of travelers, they couldn't care less.
"Don't be so heartless, you two!" Rimuru apprehended the duo, while him and Ranga ran towards the scorpion.
"Can I just...." Kama muttered, his hand being shrouded in a blue aura as a solid black bow appeared within his hand.
"Caladbolg?" Zara questioned, raising his eyebrows in the process. "Yep, it's the best way to kill it from a distance." Kama replied, tracing the broken phantasm.
Zara and Kama looked back at the last known location of the scorpion, only to find that Rimuru had struck it with black lightning.
Zara sighed while Kama couldn't help but laugh. It was only recently that they had discovered the abilities of their slimey friend.
The both nodded to one another before walking back to the village.
However what they found once they had arrived was both surprising, but also not.
Ruiki Voldigoad, the man they had had a hostile encounter with, was currently sitting on the ground talking to Kurayami.
"Not surprised that they get alone, to be honest." Kama admitted. He expected as much, considering their personalities as well as their over all abilities.
"Mhm." Zara answered, his attention currently somewhere else.
"Something on your mind, Bro?" Kamakiri asked, his hands resting within his pockets.
"No, just surprised on how long slimes can sleep, that's all."
Kama's once lazy smile had evolved into a smirk. He knew exactly who the hut that Zara was staring at belonged to.
"You two must be close, huh?" Kama stated as plainly as possible, so he didn't burst into a fit of mad laughter.
The ever so small smile on Zara's face stiffened, before falling flat. Soon after, a fist had shot towards Kama. Luckily for him, he had not deactivated his Infinity.
Zara stood, fist outstretched just in front of Kama, before scoffing. "Fuck your infinity." He stated as his hand slowly pushed forward, little by little.
"Oh fuck you!" Kama shouted, his face growing pale as he watched his Infinity lose effect.
Just as Zara's fist was about to make contact. "Will you two cut it out?" A voice had interrupted the two.
The owner of the voice was none other than Kagune, the villages resident spirit.
"Alright, alright, fine." Zara said with a sigh. He was reluctant, however, he didn't want to pick a fight with Kagune considering she could say 'Fuck You.' to his magic and abilities.
"Ha! Fuck you, Zara!" Kama shouted before running for the hills. Mainly to avoid Kagune's wrath after disobeying her.
"That son of a bitch!" Kagune shouted before disappearing. Zara stood there, completely dumbfounded of the events of literally two seconds prior.
