Vance's fists clenched tight, the memory of Elodie's betrayal and hollow promise to save him a dagger in his heart. She had been his closest confidant, but she had turned against him without hesitation. Their friendship lay shattered, replaced by an unquenchable thirst for revenge.
As they approached the girls' sanctuary, a decrepit old church, a shiver of anticipation ran through their bodies. Moonlight illuminated the path, casting eerie shadows that danced around them. Ethan pushed open the heavy wooden doors, their hinges creaking ominously.
Inside, Elodie and Katerina stood huddled together, their faces etched with terror. They had sensed their impending doom. 'You can't escape us now,' Ethan hissed, his voice a cold whisper.
Katerina, her brown hair now matted with terror, tried to flee, but Vance's lightning speed was too much. With a swift movement, he pinned her to the ground, his fangs bared.
"get the fuck off of her!" elodie screams, lunging at him not caring about the consequences.
Ethan quickly twists her arm behind her back and throws her across the room, causing her to hit the floor with a pained groan.
"elodie-" kat says, her voice coming in a short gasp as she still tries to fight off ethan.
"stop! stop please-" kat says, trying to crawl to elodie but ethan grabs her ankles and drags her back towards him.
All of the sudden the doors creak open again, revealing a hurt but clearly angry looking corey.
"huh nice-" she says, wiping her fangs when she sees that vance had turned into a vampire while she was gone.
Elodie looks up at her, obviously scared after what she had done to her the last time they were alone.
"i got this one-" corey says, walking towards elodie with a smirk on her face. "i told you i was gonna kill this cunt-" she says but before she can do anything else there's a piercing scream that echoes through the library.
"stop!-" katerina screams, sobbing as she watches them prepare to murder her love. "stop please-" she gasps.
Corey laughs "are you really begging right now? god you two are even more pathetic than i realized" she says coldly, kneeling down in front of elodie before grabbing her by her collar and yanking her to her feet.
Elodie stares at her with an angry glare, daring her to do something else.
Corey grabs her by her neck, slamming her into the hard bookshelf.
'No!' she cried, recoiling from Corey's cold embrace. 'I do not want your darkness. I want my life back!'
Corey's eyes narrowed in anger. 'You can't resist me, Elodie,' she growled. 'I will break your will, and you will succumb to the same fate that I did.'
Corey cracks her neck before smirking at elodie
"are you ready?" she asks coldly, her fangs sharp and ready to take elodies mortality just like her own that elodie once promised to protect.
Elodie cried out in terror, struggling to resist Corey's overwhelming power. But her feeble attempts were met with swift and merciless retribution.
Elodie feels her blood starting to feel weird, her eyes burning over with a new feeling of power. she realizes that she's starting to turn as well.
"no..." she says helplessly "no no stop!-" she screams, but she can't stop her fangs from piercing through her gums tasting her own blood.
Corey laughs, satisfied with her work before slowly stepping back to watch elodie turn.
"they're pointy aren't they?" corey says with a smirk, causing elodie to look at her coldly.
"fuck you..." elodie says, her heart racing with her newfound immortality.
"elodie..." a small voice whispers from the corner, it's katerina. absolutely horrified with what happened to her.
"kat- i promise i won't hurt you" she cries, unable to bear the thought of her love being so terrified of her like this.
Katerina just backs away in fear, unable to believe this is happening to her.
"kat please-" elodie says weakly, but even as she talks she can feel herself losing herself more by the second- her thoughts swarmed with the irresistible urge for blood.
This is it- this is the end of both of their lives.
