D: "I know it's been a good deal of time sister, and we've kept these lives of ours steady for quite a while, but if this is where your thought processes are leading you nowadays, I think it's time that you call it quits from this moment forth".
The other sister beamed back in defiance. Age only slightly touched her face, giving the facade that she was much younger than her years would entail.
L: "You've simply lost your taste for adventure sister! I think they will do well in finding each other"
D: "And I'm sure one will tear the other apart before I even have the chance to grow another wrinkle"
The (apparently) older one's voice was coyer than her sisters and gave away less of her curiosity than was actually present. After all, if there wasn't a question to be answered, what would be the point of the bet at all?
The bet of whether or not two girls could live and let love or would live to tear each other apart. It commenced the day the first girl was born, but it was only just now starting to get interesting...
