I found a cat [Hyunlix]

One

Hyunjin groaned as he walked back home

His whole body ached

He was to hand in his manuscript today and Lee know was busy, so he had to go to the company himself. As if that wasn't enough, the higher-ups made him help the other artists with their work, who does that? Now he was even regretting not taking a cab. He couldn't wait to get home, eat and bury himself in bed

Hyunjin heard some kids laughing to his right, he ignored them. Then he heard a cat whimper. Wait cat?

"Hey! What are you doing?" He yelled at the children going towards them

They all took off in different directions. Hyunjin sighed and bent down to tend to the cat

"Hey kitty, it's fine, I'll get something to treat you" He cooed

Hyunjin rushed to a nearby store to get bandaids and a cat treat. He covered up the cat's bruises and fed it the treat, before putting it in a carton

"I hope your owner finds you soon, I have to go"

The cat whined in what seemed like protest, Hyunjin chuckled and stroked it one more time. He finally concluded that his day wasn't totally bad as he made his way home

The moment Hyunjin got into his apartment, he forgot the cute cat he just encountered and focused on making dinner. Halfway through, it suddenly began to rain. Hyunjin paused and looked out the window. Oh no! The cat.

He grabbed an umbrella and rushed out. The food! The rushed back in and lowered the heat of the fire before going back out. Although Hyunjin couldn't hear the cat, he could imagine how cold it was with how bad the carton was vibrating

He raised his umbrella over it and the cat peered out. As if recognizing him, it gave a sound of relief and snuggled closer to him. Hyunjin picked it up and wrapped it with his clothes

"I'm sorry" He whispered before making his way back home

Hyunjin dried the cat and wrapped it in multiple blankets before going to the kitchenette to check on his dinner. Should he give the cat some of it? Could the cat even eat human food? Only one way to find out

Hyunjin scooped some soup into a bowl and filled another with rice, he placed them on a tray and carried it to the cat

Everything in Hyunjin's hands dropped. There was a naked boy standing on his couch and the cat was nowhere to be found. He stepped back

"Who are you?"

The boy who was startled by the sudden noise, squeezed himself into a corner of the couch and whimpered. Hyunjin took a cautious step closer

"Who are you?" He repeated

The boy looked up, only then did Hyunjin notice that he had cat ears. What?

"My name is Felix. Channie calls Felix Lixxie" The cat boy said in a voice deeper than Hyunjin was expecting

"..."

Did that explain anything? Maybe he should've asked why he was here

"Why are you here?"

"Bad people beat Lixie cat, Stranger brought Lixie home, Lixie like stranger"

Oh, so he was the cat?

"Is Lixie a cat?"

"Channie calls Lixie, cat hybrid"

"I see"

"What is stranger's name?" Felix asked

"Hyunjin"

"Hyunjinnie"

Cute!

Hyunjin stretched out a hand to help Felix up. Felix took the hand and got up. Hyunjin blushed and looked away the next moment. Felix was still naked

"I'll get you something to wear" He said and ran to his room avoiding the broken plates on the floor

After Felix was dressed in one of Hyunjin's hoodie and a sweatpant that seemed too big and was sipping on a cup of hot choco, Hyunjin finally cleared the mess on the floor

"Is Lixie hungry?" Hyunjin asked getting up

Felix nodded with a smile and Hyunjin had to look away, since he looked so cute

They went to the table and Hyunjin pulled out a chair for the younger

"How old is Lixie?"

Felix counted his fingers

"Lixie is five" Felix said stretching out his hand to emphasize

Cute! Well, that confirmed Hyunjin's suspicion, Felix was in little head space. He seemed like a teenager at least

"Who is Channie?" Hyunjin asked as he served Felix

"Channie is Lixie's big brother"

"I see, how old is Channie?"

Felix pulled his legs up to the chair and counted

"Channie is 20" He announced triumphantly

Hyunjin laughed

"I'm 24"

Felix looked at his toes then his fingers fingers and pouted

"So Hyunjinnie is older than Channie?"

Hyunjin nodded, Felix nodded too

Hyunjin pushed a bowl to Felix

"Eat up"

And Felix did

After dinner, Hyunjin took Felix to his room and tucked him in

"Can Hyunjinnie sleep with Lixie?"

"Do you want me to?"

Felix hurriedly nodded

"Then let me change"

That night, the two boys cuddled to sleep. Hyunjin finding companionship in the younger and Felix finding warmth in the arms of a stranger
