"Let me go." Y/N said, looking at Natasha.
"No." Natasha said, glaring at Y/N.
Y/N laughed, "It's okay!"
"No!" Natasha said and hugged her girlfriend. "I'll miss you." She said, pouting.
"Wow. My tough superhero is pouting." Y/N joked and pinched Natasha's cheeks. "You're so cute!"
"Whatever, just don't go." Natasha said, burying her face into Y/N's neck and giving it a soft kiss.
"Hmm," Y/N hummed, giggling. "But I have to use the bathroom!"
"Noooo!" Natasha whined.
Y/N chuckled softly at her girlfriend's exaggerated protest. "I promise, I'll be quick." She reassured, gently removing herself from Natasha's embrace.
Natasha reluctantly released her, but her eyes remained fixed on Y/N as she hurried off. "Hurry back." She called after her, a hint of playfulness in her voice.
Y/N returned moments later, finding Natasha leaning against the wall, arms crossed over her chest. "See, I told you it would be quick." She said, grinning as she approached her girlfriend.
Natasha's expression softened as Y/N drew near. "I just hate it when you leave. You know that you have been my anchor throughout everything, right? Ever since the snap." She said, pulling Y/N into another tight hug.
"I know," Y/N murmured, wrapping her arms around Natasha. "But you don't have to worry about losing me, okay? I'll always come back to you."
Natasha pressed a lingering kiss to Y/N's forehead. "Promise?"
"Promise, with all my heart." Y/N replied, smiling. "Now, how about we spend the rest of the day together, just you and me?"
Natasha's eyes sparkled with delight. "I'd like that," She said, intertwining her fingers with Y/N's. "As long as you promise not to disappear on me again."
Y/N chuckled, squeezing Natasha's hand. "Deal."
And with that, they set off, ready to enjoy each other's company for the rest of the day.

A MONTH LATER
"Don't fucking do this, Natasha!" Y/N yelled.
"I'm so sorry, my love." Natasha said, smiling sadly. "But I have to."
"No!" Y/N cried. "Just hold onto me! Don't you dare let go!"
"I love you, Y/N." Natasha said, her eyes searching Y/N's soul. "More than anything."
"I love you too," Y/N cried. "J-Just come up here, please!" She said while trying to keep herself and Natasha from falling off a cliff.
"We have to get the Soul Stone, and this is the only way." Natasha said.
"No! No!" Y/N yelled. "Please! You're my life, Nat! Please!"
Tears streamed down Y/N's face, the winds howled around them, matching the painful emotions raging within Y/N's heart.
"I can't do this without you, Nat," Y/N sobbed, her voice raw with anguish. "Please, baby, please don't leave me."
Natasha's eyes glistened with unshed tears, her hand reaching out to cup Y/N's cheek. "I wish there was another way," She whispered, her voice choked with emotion. "But this is the only way to save everyone."
Y/N shook her head, desperation clawing at her chest. "I don't care about everyone else," She cried. "I only care about you. Please, don't make me do this alone."
Natasha's grip tightened on Y/N's hand, her resolve unwavering despite the pain etched on her face. "You're strong, Y/N," She said softly. "You can do this. And I'll always be with you, even if it's just in your heart."
Y/N's heart shattered into a million pieces as she realized the inevitable truth. "I can't lose you." She whispered, her voice barely a breath.
"I'll love you forever." Natasha whispered.
"Please..." Y/N cried.
"Let me go." Natasha said.
"No, please, Nat!" Y/N pleaded, her voice cracking with desperation as she clung to Natasha's hand with all her might, her entire being screaming against the inevitable.
Natasha's gaze softened, "It's okay."
And then, with one final look, Natasha pushed herself back with a kick on of the cliff wall and allowing herself to fall into the abyss below.
Y/N's screams she watched helplessly, her world crumbling around her—
"Y/N!" Natasha's voice pierced through the darkness, pulling Y/N back from the depths of her nightmare.
Gasping for breath, Y/N shot upright in bed, heart racing as she struggled to shake off the lingering echoes of the devastating scene that had played out in her mind.
Natasha was beside her in an instant, wrapping her arms around Y/N in a comforting embrace. "It's okay, baby." She whispered, her voice soothing and reassuring. "It was just a nightmare."
Tears streamed down Y/N's cheeks as she clung to Natasha, the memory of Natasha's sacrifice still fresh and haunting in her mind. "I thought I lost you." She whispered, her voice trembling with fear.
Natasha pressed a gentle kiss to Y/N's forehead, her arms tightening around her. "You didn't lose me," She said softly. "I'm right here, and I'm not going anywhere."
Y/N buried her face in Natasha's shoulder, seeking solace in her presence. "But I saw you fall." She choked out, her voice muffled against Natasha's skin.
Natasha gently pulled back, cupping Y/N's face in her hands, her eyes filled with warmth and affection. "Bruce brought me back," She said, her voice filled with quiet determination. "He used the stones to bring me back to you."
A surge of relief washed over Y/N as she processed Natasha's words, the weight of her nightmare slowly lifting from her shoulders. "You're here." She whispered.
Natasha smiled, brushing a tear from her girlfriend's cheek. "I am, my darling. I'm not going anywhere. And don't you worry about losing me, I'll always come back to you." She vowed, pressing a tender kiss to Y/N's lips.
"Promise?" Y/N asked.
"Promise, with all my heart." Natasha said.
"You won't let go?" Y/N asked again.
Natasha's eyes searched for Y/N's soul, and she gave her a beautiful smile. "I won't let go."
