The Lost Princess

chapter 13

When khushi was 10 years old.

We are sitting in my class in front of the teacher as it's the PTA meeting and my result day.

We as in me and my mother.

I was sitting there quiet not speaking anything.

" Mam so here is the result of khushi. From the last exam she has improved a lot and has come 3rd in class" the teacher said smiling.

My mom grabbed my hand tightly under the table .

" Thank you so much" mom said with a weird smile.

I became terrified. I know this smile.

We came outside and she spoke slowly sitting down to match my height.

" I told you I want a good rank but you don't listen " she said

" Sorry mama" I said crying

She took my hand and we went to our house .

As we entered she went inside her room.

I started crying loudly. I know what will happen.

She came out with a stick.

" Show your hand" she said.

" Sorry mama I will do better" I said going backwards.

" COME HERE AND SHOW YOUR HAND" she yelled

I flinched and showed my hand .

She hit me 10 on both of my hands. My hands were red.

I was crying badly.

She took me to the basement.

" You will stay here till night with no food." She said.

She went outside and locked the room.

" Mama please open the door . I will be a good girl " I said crying.

My breath got heavier. I could not breath properly. My inhaler was not with me .

Black dots started appearing in front of my eyes and ...................................

!!GASP!!

I woke up suddenly from my nightmare. I felt wet on my cheeks and saw I was crying.

My heart was beating fast . I took my inhaler and started to breath softly.

I looked at the clock and saw that it was 5:00 am .

I sat on my bed thinking. I forgot to take my pill that's why I had this nightmare.

I went in the bathroom to become fresh.

In the mirror I saw the girl .

Ugly face

Dark circles.

Skinny

I sighed and thought to go down in this big ass mansion .

I went outside the room and saw so many corridors.

I decided to go find the staircase.

After 10 minutes

I started getting frustrated as I could not find my way down.

I just stomp my foot and again started finding.

After 10 minutes

Finally!!!!!
I saw the staircase and went down.

I started roaming when suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder.

Ohh god !!
 
Don't tell there is a ghost in this mansion.

It was dark in this side of the mansion.

I turned myself and suddenly screamed.

" Ahhhhh" I screamed.

The person or ghost in front of me also screamed.

" Ahhhhhhhh"

" Why are you screaming" I said being confused.

" Because you are screaming" A manly voice said

Suddenly the light turned on.

And I saw the person. It was...................

Aarav Bhai with a face mask on his face .

" What is happening here" A voice said behind me.

I turned and saw that it was Vihaan Bhai.

" Why are y'all screaming early morning" he asked.

" I don't know she started it first" Aarav Bhai said accusing me

" Excuse you , you were the one who scared me by keeping your arm on my shoulder in the dark. I thought it was a ghost" I defended myself.

They both started laughing.

Now what happened have they gone mad .

" Ok stop laughing" I said being annoyed.

" You thought it was a ghost " Aarav said laughing.

" Princess there is no such thing as a ghost" Vihaan Bhai said who was also laughing.

I stomp my leg and went towards a certain direction which I didn't knew where it would take me.

I went ahead and saw the kitchen.

I felt relieved and went inside to drink water.

" You are awake this early" A deep voice said .

I chocked on the water and started coughing .

He started rubbing my back. As I felt okay I saw it was .... Ansh Bhai.

His name is so big.

"Why are all hell bent on scaring me". I whined

" I always wake up early " I said

" Ummm ok we eat breakfast at 9 am so there is a lot of time " he said.

" Ok " I said

" If you want you can take a walk with me" he said.

" Ok no problem" I said .
