My fellow people who can't read tone, I will use tone tags for you🫂 (if you don't know what tone tags are, they are basically /*enter emotion/intent* that's it. I'll probably spell it out for a better understanding.) also feel free to point out a sentence and ask what the tone is/supposed to be and I'll be more then happy to answer.
Also dear living sentient being, feel free to give me positive criticism or just some general tips as I'm not the best at writing, thank you! The story will also be separated into parts instead of chapters so basically it'll be a different part every page unless I'm doing like part:# pt 2. . . Etc you know.
Enjoy thy (the) story✨
I was sitting on my bed, scrolling through Pinterest getting progressively bored as there was nothing I could really do because it's raining outside right now. I glance out my window, seeing the rain pour down soaking everything in its path. The aggressive tapping sounds of the rain on the roof filled the room. I sighed, I was so bored I didn't know what I could do. I stood up and sat beside my window watching the rain and zoning out a bit thinking about what I could do. Soon an idea popped in my head.
"what if I went exploring in the forest nearby.."
I let that thought stick in my head, if I was quick I could be home before my mom got home from work. I smiled at the thought, as I loved exploring new places.
I stood up again and walked to my dresser. I picked out some clothes that should keep me warm for the time being. I picked one of my thicker long sleeves that was black and slapped a t-shirt over it. I was too lazy to change into cargo pants so I just stuck with my thick sweatpants. I grabbed my oversized zip up hoodie and put it on. I fixed my hair and grabbed my phone. I head towards the front door of the house and opened it, a rush of cold air blasted in my face making me shiver a bit. I continued outside closing and locking the front door behind me. The rain almost immediately soaking me to the point my hair was almost straight to once in its life. I started walking towards the direction of the forest and listening to my music I had playing in my silver earphone. I always had one out just In case someone called my name. Sooner then later I arrived at the base of the forest, a strong aura of wet grass and trees filled my senses as I trotted through the forest. I observed my surroundings taking in all the different plants that I have yet to learn about. After about 15 minutes of walking I took a break and sat down on a fallen trunk that was sitting by a small stream of water. The rain has yet to let up and was still very intense, but the trees protected me from most of it. I was taking in everything around me and quite frankly there's a lot in a forest I never knew about. A couple minutes of examining the forest more, I begin walking again. Almost immediately after getting up I almost tripped on a creeper, luckily I caught myself before falling fully into a mud puddle. I sighed of relief before starting to walk again. I lost tract of time after a while all I knew was that the rain was finally letting up and the sky's started to lighten again giving me better visibility. The light didn't last long though, as the sun was already setting. I realized that I should probably head home again, but there's one problem. I don't know where I am. I started to panic again trying to remember where I came from but it all looked the same, or atleast very similar. One this I did remember was the line of blue flowers that I saw, but again, I don't know what direction that's in. I didn't know what to do at this point, I checked my phone to see if I could call my mom, but of course when I actually need it I don't have service, how useful(/sarcasm) I started walking in a random direction hoping that it would lead me the right way. I kept walking more and more, the sky darkening rapidly. I was loosing the very little visibility I had, so now I was even more loss. I knew my mom was probably worried sick and I don't blame her, I'm lost in a fucking forest(/neg). I was getting a mix of freaked about and aggravated I didn't know what to do, I was staring to regret my decision of leaving my room for once, I just wanted to go home. I was wet and cold and the later it go the colder I was. I was also getting tired. I sat down at the trunk of the first tree I saw, and decided I would take a nap.
