I've always loved watching true crime. Be it documentaries or shows such as law and order, so when it came to picking my career path, the only thing I knew I wanted to do was become a psychologist. I went to college and got my bachelors degree. Then, following that, I went to university to gain higher education. After university, I applied for multiple jobs, either working as a therapist for different small companies or working at brookside Prison with specific and special cases.
When I got a response from brookside telling me they wanted me to start ASAP, I was extatic. Reading the response, I realised I'd be working with sociopaths psychopaths and serial killers. I read further, understanding that whilst the sessions were happening, my 'clients' would be handcuffed. I will have a small office and an assistant.
I start tomorrow so I decided to have a shower and prepare what I'm going to wear. I step in the shower, feeling the hot water soothing my nerves. After cleaning thoroughly, I step out and wrap a towel around my waist. Then I moved towards my dresser, grabbing a black blouse and black dress trousers hopefully ill look presentable as I wasn't given a dress code only told to show minimal skin. I set them ontop of my cabinet so everything's ready for when I need it then I move to my bed messaging my boyfriend jessie a goodnight then setting my alarm for 8 am as I start at 9 30 am then I snuggle into the velvet blanket and drift into a blissful sleep. Dreaming of everything I've wanted since I was 15 coming true.
Au: I know this is short it's more just like a bit of backstop into the leading character. This isn't my first book. However, it is the first one I'm posting, so I hope you enjoy!!!
