Just then, a familiar knock on the door interrupted her thoughts, and she turned to see her best friend, Alex, standing before her with a mischievous grin.

"Well, well, well, what trouble have you been getting yourself into, my dear Y/N?" Alex teased, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

Y/N couldn't help but smile at Alex's playful demeanor, grateful for the distraction he provided from her solitude. "Oh, you know me, Alex," she replied with a chuckle. "Just trying to navigate the treacherous waters of loneliness."
