Journal entry 1
My name is Mary Elizabeth Boleyn, and I am a Princess of England. I was born as the youngest daughter of King Thomas and Queen Elizabeth Howard-Boleyn, and I have two older siblings, Prince George, the Prince of Wales, and Anne, the Duchess of York. Despite being a princess, I was not born with any sort of royal title.
Recently, I received the news that I was to be married off to François Valois, the King of France. I know that this is my fate, and I am determined to make the best of my new life. However, my heart is heavy with sorrow for the two young princesses, Louise and Charlotte, who have recently lost their mother, Claude, during childbirth.
As their new stepmother, I am committed to being a good role model and caregiver for them. It won't be easy, but I am ready to face this challenge with courage and grace.
