"Monday you can hold your head, Tuesday, Wednesday, stay in bed. Or Thursday watch the walls instead, it's Friday, I'm in love."
As Junior was softly speed walking toward school after skipping the bus ride, he shook in excitement and nervousness as he played with his red scarf. Today, he wore his signature black colored coat, ski pants, and thick boots. And of course, his red mittens, beanie, and scarf, as mentioned before. When he finally arrived at the school's gates, he stood still.. Trying to come up with a plan, should he just come up to Jessica in recess? No, there are too many kids there, maybe her friends would keep her away from him Or maybe- His thoughts were put on hold when he heard a limo pull up to the school. The rear door opened and there inside was a man, dressed in a white turtleneck sweatshirt, an expensive black trench coat, slacks, and oxfords. He had dark tan skin, and straight black hair in a comb-over style. The second person, who then stepped out of the limo was, of course, Jessica herself. Wearing an identical outfit to the man's, who was her father's, except the sweater was a dark Royal Blue color, having her usual pale-tan skin, brown eyes, and her hair cut short, just like the one in the yearbook picture As she got out of the car, her father gently tugged on her hand before speaking.
"Mija, are you sure you want to be here? You said that your class isn't doing any school work at all, you're all watching movies and playing games.."
Jessica turned to face him before smiling at him and replied
"It's fine Dad. Plus, I left my PE clothes in the locker. I think..."
Her father gave a quick nod before turning to the chauffeur, and driving off. Jessica then turned to face Junior. A green blush crept up to his pale face, it was really her.. The girl in his future, the girl he needed to protect from everyone, including himself-
"Chili day, ain't it?"
The girl said as she looked at him, who simply nodded in agreement before speaking,
"Y-Yeah.. It's really c-cold.. Um.."
Junior stuttered upon his words, not knowing what to say. Before he could say anything, Jessica spoke up.
"Say.. Are you new here? I've never seen you before at recess.."
Junior stared at her in slight shock, in school, nobody, including his teacher Mrs. Butterbean, seemed to notice or care about his absence, but she knew out of all people. She wasn't even in his class. He then cleared his throat.
"I-I like to stay inside of class or the library.. It's quieter and uh.. Relaxing..?"
The girl smiled before holding her hand out for a handshake, to reveal her wearing mittens in the same color as her sweater.
