The sky began to get grayer as the clouds became sad. The sound of the wind howling wildly but deep in the great forest was a palace: black and red, and around it was a garden of red spider lilies.

Red and gold circle lanterns hanging on the peeks of the roof. Two Tianlong dragon statues are on the left and right side of the entrance. Inside the palace was housed multiple guards. Those were the lucky ones who survived and some who did not survive.

The ruler of the palace was Emperor Averill who was an old captain but now lust for power and pride. Meanwhile, Empress Astra was the opposite of him and had their first son [ Y/N ] who would rule the palace someday.

But tragic death took the empress away from [ Y/N ] who was very young and needed her but also discovers what kind of Emperor his father is. Years and years of torture and heavy pressure to awaken his ability given by the first lunar monkey but nothing happened.

His father was disappointed and broke every promise he made to his ex-wife. After her death he didn't pay any mind to her and instead found another wife within a month. Just another version of himself and just wanted nothing but his throne.

[ Y/N ] was announced that he'll be marrying the new captain whose name is Valerian and will carry on the powerful bloodline. [ Y/N ] was forced to marry this freak of nature against his will. Now Valerian had feelings towards [ Y/N ] by his beauty and of course wanted power.

Valerian not taking a hint kept pressing
[ Y/N ] about his feeling which made him uncomfortable. Being possessive and controlling even asked the Emperor: [ Y/N ] father gave a disgusting look at the idea of two males being together but whatever will keep the bloodline going.

[ Y/N ] was not happy about this at all and made any excuse to be around his "lover". But one rainy day changed all that. . .

"[ Y/N ] hurry up you're going to miss your engagement plans with your husband!" One of the maidens knocked on his door impatiently waiting for a response. "Oh yeah, I'm coming! Just give me a second." [ Y/N ] shouted as a sour look appeared on his face. "Like I'll ever marry that possessive creep."   [ Y/N ] whispered grabbing his last cloth and tying it.

"There! Now since the samurai's are in the palace this is my chance." [ Y/N ] Tail gave little wage before focusing on lowering the covered tied rope on the ground. "Damn, it's pouring too? Even better." A small smirk appeared on [ Y/N ] then felt the rope touch the ground.

"Yes! Now to leave this hell and that creep." Before [ Y/N ] could celebrate another knock was heard and wasn't one of the maidens. "Oh dear, what's taking so long? We have are plans remember." Valerian, [ Y/N ] "lover" spoke in a soft tone but [ Y/N ] knew all too well he wasn't that "kind guy" at all.

[ Y/N ] ears dropped down after hearing his voice and wanting to vomit. "I'm going just wait." [ Y/N ] gave a cold tone as usual which made Valerian angry. "[ Y/N ] hurry up now. After all your father agreed on our marriage and as your husband, I want you to hurry up." Valerian spoke sternly and banged on the door.

"I said I'm going!" [ Y/N ] hissed as he quickly made sure his rope was sturdy and started to slowly climb down. "[ Y/N ] open up now!" Valerian shouted causing [ Y/N ] fur to spike out in fear. [ Y/N ] shakes that feeling and quickly climbs down.

"I had it with you, I'm coming in and once I do you'll regret it!" Valerian barged into the door and no one was there but an open window. His eyes widen as he rushes to the window and sees a small figure bolting down the forest. Valerian felt his blood boiling and ferociously punched the nearest furniture causing it to slam on the wall showing a big dent.
