it has been at least 2 weeks seance i last feed, i can feel the hunger. i have to hunt. time to break curfew. no matter what i think or feel if i don't feed i could go crazy and kill someone when i finally do feed.something i did pick up from jaxs is i can hunt without biting someone i just cut them and then heal them rather simple but i cant take to much or they could die.but on the other hand what Ashlin said what if i do bite someone i wold be powerful but then i wold be doing exactly what jaxs wants me to do. oh well i cant hold out for ever.no i can i just have to keep focused. ugh I'm giving myself a migraine just get this over and done with.

the window in my room slid easily open and i slipped out. walking the streets was to easy i blended into the shadows. knife in hand i turned off into an ally. i stooped dead in my tracks i could hear it a heart beating but who's? i continued to walk farther into the ally hugging the wall tightly. while some legends said vampires have no sole or heart beat they are just legends and entirely false.i gingerly approached the dumpster i could feel the heart beat coming from the other side. it is definitely not an animal. i look around the corner and see a man huddled next to the dumpster. i take a deep breath and approach. hes asleep good he wont be able to tell the cops a vampire drank from him. as stupid as that might sound to a mortal they still think it could have been a psycho person who thinks they are a vampire. i bend down and prop the man up on the side of the dumpster, take my knife and push it through the skin on his neck put my mouth to the wound and drink. its repulsive but i should think after 500 years of this i should be ust to it. i pull away and heal the wound the man stirs and coughs. damn hes awake. he opens his eyes and looks me up and down. he smiles at me what the? "have you met the oracle i think you have nice girl" he says in a gruff voice and closes his eyes to sleep again.

"what the fuck?" i ask to no one

"ya weird town hua?" someone says behind me. i turn and see jaxs.

"OK hi" i say walking towards him. "why are you here following me or just don't really want me to leave?" i ask him keeping emotion out of my voice and off my face.

"oh just taking a walk" jaxs replied stuffing his hands into his pockets.

"why is that hard to believe?" i ask looking him straight in the eye.

"you've gotten stronger not as ignorant" he stated and then used that vampire speed and disappeared.

"well OK then" i said to myself and walked back to the orphanage slipping through the window and into bed.
