Damien
It was another day of filming at the Smosh studio, and Damien Haas found himself immersed in the usual chaos and laughter that filled the set. As he and his colleagues, Shayne Topp and Courtney Miller, prepared for their scenes, they were approached by Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla, the founders of Smosh, regarding a potential new hire.
Ian handed Damien, Shayne, and Courtney a resume, asking them to review it and provide their feedback. Damien glanced down at the paper, scanning over the qualifications and experience listed by the candidate.
As he read through the resume, something caught Damien's eye. The previous company listed was a voice acting company that handled the very video games he had always dreamed of voicing-over. TBD... Damien felt a surge of excitement at the prospect of potentially working alongside someone with experience in his dream industry. "Oh, wow. A personal assistant for Teddy Swims. Impressive." Shayne said, and Ian and Courtney agreed.
However, as he continued to read, Damien's attention was drawn to the picture accompanying the resume. His eyes widened slightly as he took in the image of the candidate-a person with wavy, beautiful shoulder-length hair, soft facial features, and dangling earrings.
'Wow, she looks really pretty,' Damien thought to himself, feeling a flutter of intrigue. He couldn't deny the attraction he felt, even if it caught him off guard.
Unbeknownst to Damien, the candidate he was admiring was Aria, whose appearance was a bit more "feminine" compared to most guys. But that didn't matter to Damien; he was captivated by Aria's photo, regardless.
With a slight shake of his head to clear his thoughts, Damien refocused on the task at hand, providing his feedback on Aria's resume to Ian and Anthony.
Later that day, as filming wrapped up and the crew began to disperse, Matt and Markie approached Damien, Shayne, and Courtney, gratitude evident in their expressions.
"Hey guys, thanks for taking the time to review Aria's resume," Matt said, his voice sincere. "We really appreciate it."
Damien exchanged a knowing glance with Shayne and Courtney, feeling a sense of satisfaction knowing that they had played a part in giving Aria a chance at Smosh.
With a nod of acknowledgment, Damien turned to Matt and Markie, a smile playing at the corners of his lips.
"Of course, Matt. She really seemed ideal for the position." Damien replied, failing to notice the quick look Matt and Marcus gave each other. And maybe for me, too. Heh.
And with that, the group parted ways, each member carrying with them the hope and excitement of new beginnings.
