Meat pies are one of those simple foods that shouldn't be tampered with. Why do people put vegetables in a pie? It just ruins it. Australia was built on meat pies. We became successful because of hard work and what fed us were meat pies and tomato sauce. It wasn't vegetables, that fed us, and it definitely wasn't our government that made us successful. In fact, every mess this nation is in is because of our government and that Tony Rabbit guy, or whatever his name was.
I think this as I lick the gravy off my fingers and drag my fingers through my wet hair. Even though I ate a sausage roll and a pie, my stomach grumbles, but from nervousness, not hunger.
