"And that ladies and gentlemen, is why that Dr. Ocornell is not guilty, because how  could she have killed her father when she was 5 feet away at the dinner party before the attack"
I said triumphantly looking at the judge who seemed impressed and convinced at what i was saying.
" So how do you respond to this  Mr Frank" the middle aged judge said as she stared at my opponent
   "Well-well-well he was ummm,ummm" he stutured as I tried my laughter knowing that I had already won.
   "But how come at the event, when Dr ocornell was killed that the same substance found in the drink that killed him, was also present in your clients cup Mrs Smith" he said with a boastful expression
      I small smirk slightly crept on my face as I answered his question with
"Well, if you look at the camera footage recorded from the CCTV cameras *zoomes in*, as you can see your client clearly slipped the substance that killed my client father into her purse without her knowing thus making it look like she killed her father when she is infact the victim of a well framed work, um well poorly framed work since it wasn't that easy to catch her in the act." I said with a satisfied expression knowing that everyone around me was convinced
  "But the thing i don't seem to understand is while I was checking his health records after he died i noticed that there was not only one poison but two that was given to him before the dinner party, so would you care to explain, because I find it puzzling that there was already an attack on my client father before the one where he was again poisoned from the another substance which led to his death, I am not even starting to think that the poison in his drink killed him because the substance that was already initially used takes about 30 minutes to kill and he died about earlier than that, perhaps the second substance must have sped up the rate which would have killed him'' as i said taking a deep breath as i was walking over to a rather horrified woman who look like she had seen a ghost and whenever someone does that face it means that they had either been shocked, they are about to get exposed or they actually seen a ghost.
     "So the only 2 question that are still unanswered is whether you were the only one who kill my client's father" I said pointing toy client "or you had an acclompice and why you decide to kill her father" I said as i hit my fist on the wooden table next to the chair my opponent's client was sitting in staring her right in the eyes without blinking
     "Okay I confess, I killed Maria Ocornell's father" she said with sorrow plastered on her face, everyone gasped, some were wide eyes with their jaws open while I smirked knowing i was right along
     "But i was not the only who killed him, Stephen did also help he was my accomplice, he was the one that lushed me an manipulated me too do it when I didn't want to" she stopped and dropped to the ground on. A verge of tears while pointing to a brown haired, hazel eyed, good looking man(for his age), who raised up from his sit and put his hand in the air in defense as he stutured "Bu- bu-but i didn't kill him, i swear on my life I swear on my mother's life" he said in a form of self defense
   "Stop lying Steve" the brown hair woman raised up from the ground pointing at him while walking over to him  as she said "You pushed me to do it, you told me that when he was dean that you'll find away to get us out from jail, that we would run away and live our dreams, we would escape from both our crazy parents" she stopped as she got ove to him "You told me that you loved me" she said as the tears came back to her eyes as she dropped on the floor holding the ground " I swear i didn't do anything" The brown haired man who's name i cannot remember said in defense, "Arrest him and the accomplice" the judge said, "but wait i didn't do anything, can you blame me I wanted to be rich, i wanted to know what It would be like to have power in my hands" he said bringing out he's palm trying to express what he meant as he the police went up to him "Oh and 20 years if jail for murder of James Ocornell"the judge added, "Wait what?" He said as he heard the amount of time he was going to be sent to jail as he's accomplice was being raised from the ground still crying, "but i didn't do anything" he did as he kicked his legs in the air trying to escape the grasp of the police as he was being led to jail
"Court dismissed" the judge said as she hit her hammer on the table. I saw the other law rub he's temple cussing as he just lost, while i just stood there and thought

I sighed and went over to my client as she whispered-shouted a Thank you while holding back the urge to cry, I patted her on the back and said "Don't worry, don't cry at least you got justice on your father", She nodded re.oving all evidence of the fact that she cried "okay now be happy" I said as I left her to meet my bestie Clara (fyi she's a doctor(i know a lawyer and doctor bestie) who came running in a white coat hugging me so tight I could barely breathe while "saying bestie that was amazing, i like the part when you were like , doing this and then you brought up that and blablabla" i chuckled as i said "hey i didn't say blablabla" we both laughed and she pointed over to the man who i was debating saying"oooh isn't he cute" i hit the back of her head saying "What's cute about him he looks like a rat" I said while raised an eyebrow"aww, don't do like that" she said with a cute expression on her face "what i am just saying being cute doesn't mean anything if you don't have a brain and besides romance is the last thing on my mind" I said while walking over to the desk where all my brief case was, "Your no fun" she said while pouting her lips "Whatever" I rolled my eyes at her childish statement me and her had been friends since the day we were born and she was more childish that serious, and well I was vice versa
As I was about to leave a rather looking young white lady with hazel brown eyes approached me and grab my hands and said " That was a very good show you put up there", i blushed and put my hand over here's and said "Well , thank you I am just doing my job" with a playful tone while speaking as I was about to leave again she said something that made my ears ring"well i am am CEO of a multi Billon business and well my lawyer bailed on me and I may jave got myself in a dizzy with another business who's threatening to sue me how would you like to be my lawyer and from your little performance you showed me that you are a real tough competitor, so how would you like to be my lawyer" she said with a very convincing tone and who would I be not to take such an offer "Yes" i squealed excitedly "Thank you so much Mrs lawrance" she said while shaking my hand, "thanks for that and I am Miss lawrance not Mrs I am not married neither am I in a relationship" i chuckled, "What?!, how couldn't you be in one, your so beautiful, not even that drop dead gorgeous'' I blushed a but when I heard her say that,and u heard Clara whisper "I know right, even she agrees with me" i stared back at her with a shut-up look as I shook my new clients hands "thank you ma' i said,and she replied"Don't call me ma call me Rose Williams, since that is my name", she chuckled and I thanked once again as she gave me her card with her number on it and i turned over to Clara who I could clearly see was hiding the urge to jump around and squeal, so and she shook me back and forth violently "Bestie you just won a court case and your going on to another's one i assume you are happy about this' she said while making this expression while hitting my arm😏
"Well, what can I say I am the best and I love my job" i chuckled as I put my hand around her neck as we exited the place and too our mansion.
      We both lived together in a mansion that had a pool a spa, a gym room in it, well let's just say that since we both are the best at our jobs we both get high pay and she's more of a surgeon than a doctor and we were able to but this property and thanks to my exquisite debating skills we were able to get it at an even lower price, as soon as I got home i ran up the stairs,  hit the showers and wore my PJs and lies on my bed while opening my phone thinking about the fact that i just won a court case and ma starting a new one well isn't life just fantastic i picked up the card that the woman gave me and stared at it while I went over to my computer and my eye open after I saw who she was
    Rose Williams the sister of James Williams who both are the heir to a family fortune of over 200 billion dollars. Rose Williams is a young fashion icon, actress, model and business woman who has seem to have gotten into a dizzy with her ex  Pete lecoure a french business man who is threatening to sue her for half her entire fortune.
    My jaw dropped as I read the entire page that I had opened a few minutes ago "200billlion dollars!!!!" I screamed .
   "Um Jeni why are you screaming and stop it it's too loud and come dinners ready" Clara shouted, "Coming" i shouted back I rushed downstairs and went into the kitchen which is also where the dining room is where I saw my fav spaghetti and meatballs and as soon as I saw it i gobbled it all up and put my hand on my stomach asking for more, she slightly chuckled and told me to go and do the dishes since it was my turn "Ughh why do you enjoy making me suffer" i said
"Well cuz it's your turn to do it and i haven't eaten my food yet btw your washing my plate too'

"Hey don't call me mom we are the same age now go do your chores Missy"
'pls save me, I am forced into doing child labor, I DON'T WANNA DIE"

"Okay,okay I go do my chores" I said as i raised my hand up in self defense and surrender and go ahead to do the chores ironic isn't it I was able to win a court case but not an argument with my bestie over chores
   when I stopped she told me all about one patient who somehow was able to swallow  a wrench and how he needed surgery and how disgusting it was i told her to spare me the details and she asked me why I screamed and i told her about who the woman whoa sked me to be her water was and he jaw dropped "For real?!" She asked in denial i brought out my phone and showed her and she was speechless for a few minutes before she screamed so loud it was able to scare some birds of our front porch and we both laughed for a few secs like mad people
         "So your telling me that my bestie is a lawyer for an heir to 200 grand". "Yup" i replied with confidence. "But what does she need a lawyer for she asked", "well her ex some french guy named Pete or whatever is threatening to sue her for some thing i don't know and don't care bout", "wow" she replied with her mouth making an o shape"her brother is kinda cute, isn't he?' she said showing me pictures of him and i replied with a 'meh", "aww don't be like that", "Whatever" i said while trying to steal her food from her plate but i failed woefully, "So how about you and Shaun is anything going on is he planning to propose to you" I said while moving my hands around while trying to get an answer, I then noticed that her facial expressions has changed and she looked like she was about to cry, I then asked what happened"well me and Shaun haven't been getting along recently and we even had an argument a few days ago, and i didn't want to tell you because I didn't want you to get distracted on your case and figure it out as a loving couple that we are but not at the moment", she looked down at the floor and stirred her tea and drank it"Oh my goodness I am so sorry for you, I should have been there for you"
I said as i hugged her and she rested her head on my neck and i rubbed her back, " Don't worry it's not your fault we just had an argument it will be fine at least he didn't hit me" she joked, "well if he did imma go to his house and give him a piece of mind and send him to jail for domestic violence" I said while pounding my fist together, and i made her laugh
"I just hope that this ends soon cause I really love him do you know what it feels like to be love", she said while crouching on the floor , i bent down and told her "well my mom always told me that a real couple argues while if they don't that either something is wrong or they just don't love each other and there love is dying but that would happen to you two, okay?", I said while patting her back oh how i really wanted to go to that busters house and hit him and tell him that he is supposed to be ruining her lipstick and not her mascara,  I brought both heads together and our forehead together "don't worry everything will be alright", I said while tears rolled down her cheeks and i caressed aiming to stop her tears, "You know what, your gonna stop crying, and tomorrow will be the best day off ever"
"But I don't even have a day off tomorrow","well don't worry about that i fix that" i said confidently "Now go up to your room,  stop crying, rest and leave the rest to me" I said pushing her up the stairs and leading her to her room as i  was bout close the door she tried to protest but I didn't listen I told her to go and rest and she did then I hurriedly went to the kitchen sent her manger a letter to let her have a day off and then went to my bed, turned off the lights, and hit the hay, thinking about how i would make Clara forget about her worries and the fact that I have another court case to prepare for and soon drifted of to dream land.
