Jungkook's eyes were wide open and he was unable to react whether he should look at jimin or not. Meanwhile jimin was shocked at his baby's bluntness.

" Come here Hyeonie.. what are you even doing?" Jimin panicked while holding his baby gently to pick him up.

But the baby was too fastidious he refused to move away from his last night's acquaintance.

" Don't mind him please he is a bit of a social butterfly." Jimin spoke with a weird smile. Jimin spoke while picking him up but the baby kept struggling. He started to cry so that he could be freed again to dwell on the floor.

Meanwhile jungkook was standing there not knowing what to say or do. He can't even tell jimin why the baby was coming to him(jungkook).

" No Jihyeon baby you shouldn't do this." Jimin spoke but the baby kept sobbing while turning his head in annoyance.

" Bab-..."

" Give him to me." jimin was cut when Jungkook spoke. Jimin was visibly shocked he didn't expect Jungkook to ask this . He expected Jungkook to be annoyed but there was no sign of annoyance at his face.

" Huh?!" Jimin uttered.

Jungkook looked at Jimin's face for a few seconds then realised what he said. Obviously, jimin found him weird, jungkook thought to himself.

" I mean you were cooking something if you want I can look after him till then. No big deal." Jungkook spoke while trying to act as if nothing was weird.

" No thanks i can manage he's just a bit upset.," jimin spoke while patting the upset baby's back.

" Oh ok- .... Wait are you also smelling burning?" Jungkook asked while sniffing the unpleasant smell in the air .

" Yes i think it's coming fr....Oh my goodness hold him for a minute ." Jimin ran towards the kitchen while giving the baby to Jungkook who held him quickly.

" Oh shit! It burned a little." Jimin was yelling while jungkook looked at the baby who was staring at him with the same confused emotions.

" Do you think his food will be edible today?" Jungkook spoke while shaking his head while the baby copied him and shook his head too.

" You said it burned a little...." Jungkook spoke while looking at the turned vegetables. They were now sitting at the dining table to eat but the food wasn't looking much appetizing. Jihyeon was sitting in jimin's lap while holding a slice of apple. Jimin was feeding him his baby food with the help of a spoon.

" Yeah a little bit. But you know it wasn't my fault I was doing it nicely until you came and disturbed." Jimin tried to defend himself.

" Excuse me ! I disturbed you ? I just came outside and it was you who started talking and doing everything you wanted." Jungkook sounded offended and Jimin knew he was kind of right so he decided to end the quarrel .

" Shh! You shouldn't talk while eating otherwise you'll choke on food and you know what will happen next." Jimin spoke without looking at jungkook.

Jungkook opened his mouth to say something but then closed it controlling his nerves. He started eating but to surprise the food wasn't as bad as it looked. It was bearable and would have tasted better if it wasn't half burnt.

After a few minutes Jimin's voice broke the silence.

" Jungkook do you think the roads will be cleared till afternoon?" Jimin asked Jungkook while looking outside of the window.
