Season 5 Rewritten

A Katy or a Gaga

I want to point out that Matt will be returning as a main character in the second half. He will also be shipped with Mercedes. I know what you're thinking. Isn't it a little off to put the only black dude in the show with Mercedes. Well, here's the thing. They aren't gonna be together because he's black. It's because since Sam's gonna end up with Tina, and since Santana is with Brittany, there is no other possible person for him to be with. Plus it only makes sense that he would be hanging with Mercedes since she would need dancers for some of her performances, like Shake my head. Enjoy

It all begins at Tina's room. Sam and Tina are making out in bed passionately, when suddenly Sam pulls back.

"Why'd you stop things were just getting good." Tina pouts.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, we'll totally get back to it in a second, I just need to ask you something. Look we've been doing a lot of stuff since prom. Hanging out, making out, sleepovers." Sam lists.

"Yeah, "Sleepovers"." Tina air quotes the sleepovers to imply they did more than just sleepover.

"Yeah, so I was thinking maybe we could... make it official." Sam asked. Tina while not being opposed to the idea is hesitant.

"Listen Sam, I really like you, but if we're going to make it official, I need to make sure it can last. The reason I picked you for prom was because you were the farthest away from all my other crushes/boyfriends." She reasoned.

"True." Sam agreed.

"Yeah, and you have been great but I really need to be sure I've really escaped my past patterns."

"Okay, so how do we prove that." He asked.

"Well all my other boyfriends were always really talented but Artie and Mike never even tried to take the lead. Before Finn showed up Artie was the most likely to be the male lead since Kurt only wanted to sing girl songs. He was one of our best singers, and he was a pretty good dancer and even after Finn showed up he was better. But he never even tried to take the lead. And Mike was our best male dancer, and other than dancing with Brittany at Valerie, he never even tried to do any dance leads. And he only got to sing twice in one competition before graduation."

"So you want me to try to lead the New Directions?"

"What I need is a man who can show some backbone. Please Sam, I really need to know that you're the one for me." She said while stroking his cheek.

"Umm, yeah okay. I'll give it a shot."

Tina smiles "Thank you Sam. Now why don't we get back to it."

Sam smirks. "Do you even have to ask." And... They're back to making out.

Everyone is jamming and hanging out. Mostly just having fun until Mr. Schue enters the room for news.

"All right, big week, guys. Come on. Gather round." He said and they obliged. " I have here in my hand Drumroll, please." They all tap their knees and chests. "A secret list of the show choirs that we will be in competition with at Nationals in six weeks." They applaud this news.

"So who's on the list? Vocal Adrenaline?" Rory asked.

"Surprisingly, no." Everyone cheers from this news. At least they don't have to compete with them anymore.

"I guess they've gone soft now that their best player is out of their game board." Unique said.

"Okay, let's see what we've got. We got the Rust-Belters from Pittsburgh, the Thunder Showcats from Gainesville and finally, from Fort Wayne, Throat Explosion."
