It's only been like a year

Marcy began reading the notebook left by Anne after spacing out for what seemed to be eleven months. The notebook was full of very generic stuff, except for some weird person she kept bringing up named "MW".

Anne wrote about MW like they were soulmates, sharing every interaction they've ever had and gushing about how kind and silly she was. Marcy was very suddenly interrupted by Anne's mom bursting into the room.

"Alright you little fucker. You are going to get me some fucking frog legs. Don't even THINK about coming back until you get some." Marcy left the house (after taking some of Anne's kitkats of course) and left to go back to Amphibia.

While walking through the Amphibia Forest, she was thinking hard. Who was MW? Why does Anne like her so much? Why am I jealous? Wait, I'm not jealous. I'm straighter than a... hang on I have to think of something straight.... uhhhhh, oh got it! Jojo Siwa! I grew up with her. I should've seen if she had any new stuff when I was in the human world.

Marcy's train of very straight thoughts was interrupted when she saw a delicious looking frog. She took the frog and threw it into the portal to make her future mother in law happy. She, however, did not go through the portal. She wanted to stop Salsa. That fucking bastard. Killing her bestie for the restie. Or was it Andrias who killed her? Marcy couldn't remember. It's been like 11 months.

Where even was Salsa? Where was she? She didn't have any weapons. Marcy left her sunscreen at home. As she wandered through the forest,  Anne's death finally got to her. She had no one to talk to except herself. No one to distract her from the loneliness of the loss of her best friend.

Even worse, Anne's death was her fault. It could've been easily prevented if Marcy had just taken one for the team. Anne had people who loved her. A family. Friends. Marcy only had Anne. Not even Marcy's parents cared about her.

How did she screw up so bad at being a person that not even her own parents liked her? Marcy started to cry. Letting 11 months of grief wash over her, she bawled her eyes out.  She cried because she was alone. She cried because her only friends died because of HER.

While she was crying, she didn't realize a presence behind her...

Authors note: holy shit I undiscontinued it! Yayyyy angst. Hopefully it won't take me 11 months to get off my ass and make another chapter this time. Enjoy the angst :)

Another note: sorry I discontinued it in the first place. Get ready for an epik fight scene later.

Goodbye and have a very gay day :)
