chap. 5

"I'm going to your dorm."

Kats and I were eating lunch together on the roof. It had become another spot for us to hang out. He said it was quieter than the workshop, and like duh it is quieter since it's outside. He brought me a cute bento box with the sausages cut to look like octopi. I asked why he made it for me and he said it was 'left over from his'. Little liar. Anyway, I was caught off guard by what he said. I almost choked on the food.

"What?" I coughed while hitting my chest. He started to pat my back like he was doing anything. "Jeez, calm down. I want to go to your dorm room." I finished coughing and looked at him confused. "Why?" I tilted my head. "Because I don't want to be in my dorms anymore." He shrugged his shoulders and leaned back on his hands. A slight breeze passed us and it moved his hair. He looked so calm. He was way different than his first year.

"Someone wants to get in my sheets."

"Oh my god shut the fuck up, Vi!"

"I'm just kidding!"

"But why do you wanna go to mine? Why not yours?" I questioned going back to the bento. It was actually delicious, I didn't know he could cook. "Because those shitty idiots are there. I can't deal with them anymore." He muttered. "Oh, those guys I met. Yeah, I understand why." I looked away and then back at him. "Okay, you can come over. Imma have to sneak you in 'cause the guys don't really like you." I rolled my eyes at my own statement. They all think he's still the hothead from the first year. He's changed...a lot. I wish they could see that.

"Cool...cool," He said looking away. Out of nowhere, he snapped his back. "They don't like me?! I'm literally the best person at this school! They should bow down to my-" I got up and patted his shoulder. "Yeah okay. Calm down there bud."

What am I doing?

I can barely handle being around her. And now I ask to go to her dorm. Am I fucking crazy? Who the fuck knows.

"Bakugou. Bakugou, are you with us?"

"Huh?" Shit, did I zone out? It's been happening more often. I've been thinking about Vi a lot. Mostly figuring out if I like her or not. Pretty sure I do though. "God, you've been out of it recently. Anyway, that will be all for today. Bye, losers." Aizawa went back to his worm case. He's so weird. The bell rang and I started to pack my stuff until I heard someone calling my name.

"Psssst! Kats!" Vi was whispering, but more yelling, for me to come over. "Girl I gotta put my stuff away." I rolled my eyes. "Well hurry up! We need to rush." She's so damn impatient. Looks cute when she is. I started to pack slower to tease her.

"Yo stop playin'!"

"Alright. Alright"

We leave the classroom and head to the support course dorms. She then proceeds to push my head down as we walk in. I let her do it, but I don't like it. "Hey Kanamori! Haven't seen you in a while." I heard some extra say. "Oh hey. Yeah, I've been cooped up in the shop. Building some nice stuff." She replied. She sounds so bored around others. I'm glad she can show herself around me.

She led me to her room and when we walked in I wasn't that shocked at what I saw. It was neat and clean, just like her setup in the shop. She had a desk near the window with a bunch of plants on it. It also had some Lego builds. Next to the desk was a little library full of manga and novels. I knew she was a nerd.

"So, whaddya think?" She turned around to look at me. "It looks like a nerd-" She cut me off. "I actually don't want your opinion." She walked over to her closet. I gave her my best stank face. "Imma get into comfy clothes. Make yourself at home."

She walked into her closet and closed the door. I looked around the room more and saw what she was into. Avatar: The Last Airbender. Blue Period. Nana. and of course Arcane. She really called me a dork while having all of this stuff. She's such a hypocrite I sat on the corner of her bed, trying to stay respectful. There were a bunch of stuffed animals at the top of the bed. Mostly Hello Kitty. She's so fucking adorable. She came out of the closet wearing sweatpants and a tank top and looked over at me. She let out one of those cute giggles.

"You can get on my bed, ya know." She flopped onto the bed while saying this. I scooted more onto the bed. "God you are so awkward." She snickered and reached over to grab a book from her nightstand. "Says you!" I remarked while lying down. I looked over to see what book she was reading. The Inheritance Games. Sounds interesting enough.

"What are you reading?" I tilted the book towards me to take a glance at a few pages. They were all in English. "Some mystery book I found. It's about rich people so I may drop it." She flips a page. I move closer to her to read some. My English isn't the best, but I can understand it to an extent.

"I didn't know you knew English," I said while cuddling up to her arm. "Huh? Oh yeah, my mom is American so she talks to me in English. It's my second language." She flips another page. She's a fast reader. "I didn't know that." I relaxed into her arms. She's really comfortable.

"Maybe because I didn't tell you."

"Thought you told me everything."

"Who said that?"

"Well, can you tell me everything?" I sighed feeling tiredness wash over me. Thinking about feelings is exhausting. "Do you really wanna hear about my life?" She questioned. I nodded my head against her arm. She let out a long sigh while putting down her book. "Okay, I guess I can tell you." She spent the next hour yapping about her past. It was nice to hear her open up to me, especially knowing how mysterious she was. My tiredness started to wear me down and I let sleep take over.

"And the reason I didn't like you for a while is because you're the reason I had to leave my old department behind after your kidnapping. Oh wait that may be a sensitive topic! I'm sorry-" I looked down at Kats after not hearing him make a comment. "Heyy," I said softly. "Is Kat still with me?" He looked so peaceful like this. Can't believe I got this man in a bed of stuffed animals. I shouldn't wake him. It was Friday so he didn't have to wake up early tomorrow which was good since I started to see bags under his eyes. My phone vibrated on my nightstand, so I went to pick it up.

Mei-Mei💞: heyyyy girl! you doin' alright

Me: Yeah I'm good. Why you askin?

Mei-Mei💞: just checkin. we should have a girl day soon!!!

Me: Oh yeah that would be nice. Can I talk to you later though?

Mei-Mei💞: Sure!! but why wyd?

Me: Not ew! It's cute.

Mei-Mei💞: When did you and blasty get close?

Mei-Mei💞: actually i'll ask later
