𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐓𝐑𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐎 process what just came out the girl's mouth, he took a few moments to even speak or react.

"Uh..." Marley was lost for words.

"Can't speak for him, but I'm with it." Nate shrugged carelessly.

Marley scratched at his hair and finally plopped down onto a nearby chair in pure confusion, "How does that even workout?"

"Oh my God, Marr..." Brittany laughed at his stupidity, "Y'all will have two girlfriends and a boyfriend and we'll have two boyfriends and a girlfriend, simple."

"I mean if you ain't fucking with it then just say that but, it was 'bout time we said some." Niara shrugged, "It's clear we gone fuck and y'all gone fuck. So, why we can't just all just fuck each other when we want?" Niara tried to make to make sense to Marley.

"I see." Marley huffed, "Can a nigga just get some time to think 'bout this? Not saying I ain't wit' it but, I'm just getting myself to claim I been fucking him and now you want da nigga to be my boyfriend?" His face scrunched up.

Nate immediately mugged him, "Fuck you saying it like that for?" He scoffed, "Matter fact, it's cool. I'm good off this, y'all got it." He got up and walked off.

Marley immediately face palmed knowing he fucked up— he didn't mean it in anyway Nate took it but he knows his wording came out wrong.

"Marr." Brittany frowned.

"I know... I know..." Marley frowned as well, "I'll be back. Y'all don't go no where, this conversation ain't done." He got up and followed Nate into the room.

"I ain't mean it how it sounded, Nate, I'm sorry." Marley apologized immediately.

"Okay. I hear you..." Nate was already tuned into his writing journal, not caring about anything Marley was talking about.

Marley blew his breath and pushed the door shut, "What you writing 'bout now? Same shit as earlier?"

"No, thought up some other shit since then. Started it earlier before we left but it ain't done or nothing." Nate tossed his notebook to Marley.

Yeah, it's like a symphony without a beat,
My heart's drumming, but it's incomplete.
Caught up in emotions, can't hit delete,
But you're the one who left me in defeat.

Thoughts racing, like a marathon in my mind,
But you're indifferent, leaving me behind.
I'm caught in this cycle, can't press rewind,
Feels like I'm chasing shadows, can't seem to find.
