3rd pov

"Are you sure you're ready for this Loonie?" Natsu says smugly
"Are you?"
Natsu's smug face made Mirajane laugh. The crowd surrounding the two wizards had started taking bets. The majority went to Natsu, courtesy of his guildmates. Though a good portion of people still placed bets on Lucy's ability, all be it unknown.
"No one gets badly injured alright?" Gramps stated before the match begins. "Annnnnddd GO!"
Natsu slammed his fist to his open palm and flames erupted. Lucy grinned at the spectacle and unclasped a necklace and threw it to Mirajane. Worry rushed over Mira but Lucy nodded a look of reassurance to her. The guild then felt a wave of raw power fill the air.
"What was that just now?" "I have no idea." Voices staggered at the sudden feeling. "Was that your power dampener?" Natsu asked in asumement at the rush. "That was one of them. Now bring it on!!"
"FIRE DRAGON IRON FIST!!" Natsu lunged to where Lucy stood. Just then vines grew through the cracks in the ground beneath them. They created a shield in front of her blocking Natsu's attack.
"Vines? Alright I'm all fired up!" Natsu debated in his head, what was the magic Lucy was using? He ran towards Lucy once again this time with a "FIRE DRAGON WING ATTACK!" The wall of vines turning into a cacoon around Lucy. Natsu stepped back confusion plastered on his face. The crowd also questioning to each other how his flames didn't singe the vines. The vines recoil into the cracks of the ground.
"If that's all you got I'll give it a shot now." Lucy giggled to herself. Without missing a beat Lucy's vines tie Natsu up before he gets a chance to move. He struggles and grunts trying to make his way out of their grasp.
"I thought you were a celestial wizard? What is with the vines?" Natsu said in between grunts. "I said I was a celestial wizard MAINLY. I do use other types of magic as well." The crowd gossiped amongst each other at the comment. "But I can show you some celestial magic." Lucy retracted the vines and grabbed a key from her belt. "OPEN GATE OF THE GOLDEN BULL, TAURUS!" Suddenly a Taurus appeared.
"Alright let's go!" Natsu leaped towards Taurus and Taurus went into action swinging his two sided axe and Natsu retreats to avoid his swing. Just then the vines reappear and trap his legs letting Taurus land his next hit. Natsu grimanced in pain and the crowd erupted. "Thank you MOOOOO lady." Taurus loving cooed to Lucy. Natsu thrashed and eventually made his way out of the vines and landed a hit on Taurus. "I must go L-Lucy.." Taurus cried out bent over in pain as he disappeared into the celestial world. While Lucy was distracted Natsu hit her with a fire dragon talon. Lucy was propelled back onto the ground. "That's gonna leave a mark.." She said shakily, the breath knocked out of her.
"Go Natsu!!" A small voice was heard from the crowd. "You sure do have a lot of fans don't you?" Lucy joked to Natsu while getting back on her feet. "As I should I'm the strongest in fairytail!" You could hear laughter bellow in the crowd at his retort.
"FIRE DRAGON ROAR!!" Natsu attacked without warning. Lucy wasted no time and "EARTH DRAGON ROAR!!" Lucy sent a counter attack. The power between them clashed and Lucy slowly overpowered Natsu throwing him to the ground with her attack. Natsu screamed in pain at the hard hit to the ground. "Lucy please be CAREFUL!!" Mirajane yelled worried. "EARTH DRAGON SPIKE!!" The ground below Natsu rumbles and creates a spike hitting him in the side. He screams out again, unable to get up. She then ran over to Natsu and hovered a hand over him murmuring something to herself. Natsu sat up feeling better though still roughed up.
"The name's Lucy by the way, not Loonie." Lucy spoke softly and smugly to him.
"THE WINNER IS LUCY!!" Gramps yelled over the screaming crowd. People erupted in cheers and the winners of the bet started making their rounds for their winnings. Lucy walked over to Mirajane taking the necklace back, clasping it back on her person. "You're a dragon slayer?!" Natsu was taken aback. "Yes, Earth dragon slayer magic is my specialty." Lucy smiled. Natsu looked at her with a puzzled face. "Earth dragon? I've never heard of anyone having those abilites." Lucy avoided the question and just said "You should probably get checked out for those injuries I can only help with so much."

Inside the infirmary

"You cheated didn't you?" Natsu questioned while being bandaged up by Mirajane. "How could I have even done that?" Lucy looked amazed at the question. Natsu sulked and said confidently "I'll beat you next time I could beat you right now!" Lucy rolled her eyes.
"Yeah okay hotshot."
