I woke up to an extreme pounding in my head. I must have a migraine. Today's gonna suck, I can tell. Do they allow you to just lay in bed all day here? Well, hopefully they do.

I turn over and see Kit lying in a bed across from me, his eyes locking with mine as he sees me.

"Hey," He says while smiling.

I'm so attracted to him, but he could be dangerous.

"Hey," I reply.

"What time is it?" I groggily ask.

"I have no idea." Kit tells me.

Well.

"What are we gonna do today?" I asked,

"Like, do we just wake up every day and do absolutely nothing except be punished for stuff we didn't do?" I continued, asking Kit.

"Basically." Kit responded.

"Thats stupid." I said, it was. Like I just want to go home and live a normal life.

Suddenly, there was a knock on our door. Kit and I both turned and looked at each other with a confused expression and I nodded my head yes, signaling I would go and open the door.

I stood up from the bed and felt my feet touch the cold, cement floor. Once I opened the door, I met eyes with Sister Jude.

"Hello. Annamarie, is it?" Sister Jude asked me in a straight forward voice.

"Yes... You're Sister Jude, right?" I replied to Sister Jude, probably sounding stupid to Kit since I clearly knew that it was literally Sister Jude.

"That would be correct." Sister Jude replied.

"Why did you come up here?" I asked in a concerned voice.

"I need you two to go and work in the bakery today. Now." Sister Jude commanded.

Great. Right when I have a migraine. I'm feeling kind of dizzy too. But I know I can't say no to Sister Jude, like Kit said.

Kit and I both looked at each other, looking confused. But we both agreed to working in the bakery. I mean, at least it will give us something to do.
