Parting ways

Arjun was sitting there shocked looking at subhadra face he couldnt understand what will he tell her or how will he face her 

He had many questions going inside his head  

He sat there in pure shock and waited for Subhadra to wake up

After sometime, Subhadra's eye is open, slowly, she put her hand on her head and was feeling very weakShe looked at Arjun and tried to sit

Arjun held her and helped her to set up against the headboard of the bed

Once she was well settled, she looked at Arjun week and questionable eyes. The eyes which ones held happiness were now empty. They looked sad, and he was not able to meet her eyes.

Finally, observing Arjun, who had a very guilty look on his face, she managed to utter words in her rasp andBroken voice

Subhadra: look in my eyes, Arjun what happened to me and what happened over there? Did you?

Arjun looked at her and didn't speak anything

Subhadra: tell me Arjun, what happened?

Soon after a minute of silence, Arjun finally spoke

Arjun:Subhadra, I don't know how to tell you this

Subhadra: did you marry her?

Arjun: no, never Subhadra, I promised you, and I will never break it

Subhadra: but Arjun, you won the syayamvar and according to the rights and laws, you will have to marry her

Arjun: trust me, Subhadra. I won't let that happen. Please trust me.

Subhadra : I don't know Arjun. What happened to me? How did I faint 

Add this, Arjun's expressions changed

Subhadra: what happened? Tell me why are you so quiet? Why do I feel so weak and why does my lower abdomen Ache?

Arjun spoke in a very long low voice

Arjun: you.......You..

Subhadra: I WHAT Arjun

Arjun: You .....you had a miscarriage. We....we lost our child 

Subhadra shocked all hearing this. She thought she lost her child before even knowing that he or she existed.

What an irony for her, she got to know that she was pregnant, knowing that her child had died

What could have been more painful for other?

Tears started dropping one by one from her eyes. She looked at her. He was going to wipe her tears with his hands, but she stopped him from touching her.

Subhadra: how?

Arjun: doctor said that due to stress V, we lost our child 

Subhadra, with her, very weak body tried to stand up

Arjun tried to stop her, but she jerked his hand

She stood up, taking the support of the headboard and Arjun, who stood in front of her guilty for his actions and whatever happened

Subhadra , in angry tone spoke

SSubhadra: do you even realise what you are speaking? How can you be so inconsiderate you promised Arjun then why? Why did you step down in the competition arenawhat was the need to you. Assured me right that nothing will go wrong, then why you said you were there, but you willingly destroyed everything.

Arjun:  I am a warrior I could not have denied the challenge

SubhadraStarted clapping in sarcasm

Subhadra: You decided to put our love at stake , you decided to participate in this syaymvar you won it ,Congrats now, you have another woman in your life, congrats you killed our child all because of you I don't want to be with a person who who was the reason for the death of my child before he was born , I want to part ways with you if I stay with you now, I will die every day from inside, and I'm not that strong

Arjun, tears fell on this

Arjun held her hand and spoke 

Arjun: please listen to me, Subhadra. Try to understand my side.

Subhadra: try to understand what Arjun, I don't want to hear anything. Leave my hand 

With that, she jerked off his hand 

And started walking outside

Arjun started following her

When they reached on the main door, Subhadra came face-to-face with draupadi who was beautifully dressed in a bridal attire and the four pandavas behind her 

Their eyes met Draupadi with tears in our eyes and Subhadra with emptiness Arjun to stop behind Subhadra

On seeing Arjundrauoadi immediately diverted her eyes from Subhadra and looked at him

She ran towards him and held his hand

drauoadi : Arjun, Arjun,  you won my swayamvar  I considered you as my Arya then how can I marry the four of them like your mother said? Please please, please marry me. I can't marry four of them. You are my.Arya 

With thatdrauoadi hugged Arjun and he was too shocked to react

Subhadra turned back and looked at them

Subhadra: don't do wrong with her, the way you did with me , from now, you are free from my side she removed her chudamani and handed in Arjun Arjun hand, while draupadi  was still hugging him

And then she sat on the chariot and spoke

Subhadra: if you had ever loved me with purity if your  love was true, don't ever follow me now and never you have my swear

With that, she signal the one, holding the horses to take her to dwarka 

Once she had left 

Arjun came out of the shop. He slightly pushed  Draupadi away from him.

Arjun: I am sorry drauoadi I am only Subhadra's Arya , marry anyone else. I am all her. I only love her, please never ever call me your arya , please do whatever my mother said if you respect me-even a little bit

drauoadi noDded and stepped away from him 

Arjun was broken , with a broken heart, he went into his room and thenall his necessary items he returned and riding the horse he went to indraprasth keeping the chudamani Subhadra gave him safe

Arjun: I will win you back Subhadra

Behind his back, the marriage of drauoadi and the four Pandavas was done

All of them returned, Indraprastha the next day
