The Meet Up

I was so nervous.

1. My first time seeing Antonio after what happened.
2. I have to ask the teacher if I can be partners with Charlie
3. Just......... Charlie

The fact that I am gonna tell him that I'm free for today and I'm excited is just too much for my mental capacity. I'm taking deep breaths as Viv sees me looking anxious. She understands.

"Hey girlie, it's gonna be great. I bet Antonio won't even dare to bat an eye at you after the way you decimated him yesterday" She laughs. "And Charlie will love the fact you want to hang out with him. I know you will be fine."

At that point her girlfriend Leann walks to her and they start talking. It gives me a second to think again. I decide Viv is definitely right.

But when Leann opens the door to the classroom for us I start having second thoughts.

I immediately go to the teacher to ask if switching partners is allowed.

"Uhm miss?" "Yes?" She inquiries. "I was just wondering if it was allowed to switch partners?" "Well who do you want to be your partner?" I take a deep breath. "I was hoping I could be Charlie's partner."  "If he's ok and his partner can find someone else along with yours."

My heart skipped a beat. I grinned and thanked the teacher then thought about how I would ask Charlie about it.

I walk over to Charlie. He sees me and his face lights up.

"Hey Charlie. I asked the teacher about it and I'm wondering if you want to be my partner?" He smiles and says in his charming British accent "Yes I would like that."

I smile and I take his hand. He looks surprised for a second but then smiles. I am surprised myself. I didn't think it would happen. It was just like a reflex. But I liked it.

"Where do you wanna sit?" I ask. "How about over here?" he gestures to an empty table other than two boys. I nodded.

We sat down and the teacher started talking. After a while she asks us to talk with our partners about when we think the next minute of kisses should be.

"Well I think maybe every week?" Charlie says but I'm not listening. When the teacher said that I thought about Antonio. I look over and see a girl sitting on his lap. I'm surprised that I'm not hurt. I'm actually kinda mad. I'm mad because he could hurt that girl in the future.

"Kallie?" I snap back to Charlie. "Oh sorry. Yeah weekly could totally work. Also I'm still free for this afternoon. You're dorm room is 246 if I'm correct?" I ask. He nods. "Hey what's your favorite color and flower?" I take a second to think then respond "It has to be light sky blue and lilacs. My mom used to have a lilac bush I used sit by and draw next to."  He smiles then says" Thanks that's s-"

The bell rings and I walk to my next class.

We arrive at lunch and I lead Charlie to our table. I wave at Viv and Leann. Viv smiles seeing Charlie with me. Antonio isn't there to my relief. I get my lunch and sit down.

After I'm done I look at the clock. Lunch is almost over! I hear the bell ring.

Charlie runs over and says "If you could give me a minute before arriving it will be worth it!"
"Ok" I respond.

He runs and I wait a few minutes and then I start walking to his dorm.

I scan the doors until I find it. I open the door then......................
