Prologue

" Is this what you want from me in this engagement?" He looked at the paper and then towards me to see my expressions, but as always his face showed none. He started observing my expressions like I was doing a prank with him and I gave him the contract just to play a prank. He was waiting for me to give him a clear explanation.

"Yes if you want this engagement to happen you have to sign this contract otherwise there's no chance I'll get engaged to you.” I said with a calm expression like nothing was happening and everything was fine.

“And yes before saying no to me remember about your reputation and also your family’s reputation that will be ruined just because of your one No. Your reputation, your respect is everything for you right? What will people say if they find out that Siddharth Oberoi was rejected by her soon to be fiance before the engagement?” I said with a mischievous smile lingering on my lips. I just wanted to convince him. I don't want to do this with him but I have to do it. I have no other option. I definitely knew very well what I was doing, I was trying to threaten him with my words so that he would sign the paper.

After listening to this a small smile formed on his lips and he took one step towards me. Now he was closer to me and why the fuck he was smiling. He was literally a man whom I will never understand in my entire life. Whatever but why I am the one who was feeling scared right now.

I think because he was smiling.

He is dangerous.

“Wh-y why are you smiling?” I asked “I am not telling you a joke” I said with an angry expression on my face.

“I am smiling because you are smiling. You look more beautiful when you are smiling.” He said and again took one step towards me. He was trying to irritate me and at the same time he was trying to manipulate me with his gestures.

How dare he.

GOD I am confused about who was trying to bully and who was the one who was being bullied.

I think I am the one who was being bullied.

“I will sign the paper but you have to give me a proper explanation why are you doing this?” he asked with normal expressions.

“You have nothing to do with it just sign the contract and go or this engagement will not happen and you have to face the consequences” I said to him

After listening to this he gave a big smile to me. “You don't have to blackmail me like this if you want anything from me just say I will do everything for you afterall you are going to be my fiancee soon"  He said.

I am speechless.

Why was he not looking angry at me?

He moved his gaze towards the contract from me   and signed it.

Will she accept him as her fiance or not? What is the reason behind the contract and what is in the contract? Will she love him in the future or not? For knowing this story read "The Magical Eyes”
