"we are not buying him in a completely different country belle" his rejections are getting weaker and weaker as he tries to resist belles pleads.
"but he's just a baby look at that face" she says, pointing to the baby australian shepherd in the humane society.
lando can't help but give in when he sees the puppy snuggle into belles lap, stomach full of butterflies and his face flushes at their little interaction.
he is so whipped.

when lando finally makes it off of the podium, he dodges each reporter, ignoring his pr manager yelling at him, and makes his way to the blonde smile he plans to love forever.
she doesn't get one word in, before he's cradling her face and kissing her. he knows it's being photographed, knows he probably doesn't need to be doing this but he can't help it. he is so hopelessly in love that he would do anything for her.
she brings her arms around his neck as he pulls back and presses their foreheads together.
"i am so in love with you" he breathes into the space between them, feeling like there is no one else in the room.
"good because i will never let you go lan" she smiles, her eyes glistening with pride.
"i love you so much" she says back as he pointedly looks at her when she doesn't say it back.
she is his forever. and he is hers. none of them fair much better for eachother, both exceedingly in love and they always have been.
