PART 1 - Memories

"NATASIT OPEN THE DOOR" , the voice said behind the door.

I sigh. This is getting ridiculous. Right now , I need to stop Ma from doing anything stupid.

I press the intercom and said, "Samantha, unclock the door, let her in."

"Are you sure boss?"

"Yes , if not other staff will get distracted with her voice." I said to her.

The next moment I turn off  the intercom button. I heard the sound of my door open.

"I stand to god, Samantha. I will fired you!" She said to my secretary.

"Don't you dare , Ma. She is the best among the other secretary you bring to me." I roll my eyes to her.

She took her seat in front of my table and I already can sense what she will say.

"Why you reject all the girls that I search for you, Nat ????" She said without waiting any longer.

"You know you're already 25 right this year? When will you get married ? When will I be a great grandmother? Do you not feel lonely , Nat ? Look around you . All people in your age already getting married and having kids. And you?? Busy with all the work in this company !" She said to me in a calm way.

I just shut my mouth listening to her. I have so many things to say but I had been teach by Ma not to interrupt when elders speaking since I'm kid.

" May I speak now ?" I ask her.

She nod her head.

"First of all Ma, I'm not interested in having a relationship now. And I just start this business around 3 years , and there is so many things I need to do to make this company stable." I explain to her hoping she will understand me this time.

She sigh heavily.

"But Nat, I just want you have someone take care of you, accompany you like other people. I know you had been lonely since Amy and Lily left us." She reach my hand and hold.

"Ma, don't say like that. I had you, who had been taking care of me since then. I'm so much happy and no one can even imagine how I'm happy with you, Ma." I said while looking into his eyes.

My eyes start watering.

'Shit, here we go again ! Such an emotional bastard !'

"Ouiii , no no don't cry , sweetheart. You know I always love you naaa. You really know how to soften my heart huh?"

She get up and come hug me.

"Okay okay I will go now . Don't forget to eat and call me if you already reach your apartment ." She said while patting my head.

"Okay khub, Ma."
I smile to her.

She kiss me in the forehead and walk away to the door.

I smile .

Probably people will think she is my mother . Like how she scold me, talk to me. How I obey her like other kids to their mother.

That's my grandma, Monica. She had been taking care of me since my parents left me 15 years ago in accident.
At that time, I'm just 10.
They just starting their business by selling cloth that handmade by my mother.
I'm with them in the car with them that morning before the accident.

*Flash Back*

"Nat, do well in your exam for today na ! It's the last day of your exam right? Tonight we will celebrate together with grandma okay sweetheart?" Lily said to Nat .
