The competition wasn't too hard, simple endurance type tests that demonstrated our quirks and our control of them.
Something that Aizawa had the blonde called Bakugo demonstrate with his explosions.
My quirk: Splash
I am able to control the excess water in my body, bringing it out and into the world, while also controlling water around my person in a close enough ranger. Though I am able to reach the water out to wherever I want when I am in control. The downside is dehydration and the negative effects that come with that.
I went through the motions using my water to run, using it throw, using it to do all sorts of stuff.
And so did everyone else.
As the class came to a close, we watched the leadership board get presented to the class, Midoriya, the green haired boy who broke his finger just to throw the ball, got last.
I didn't bother looking towards him, I was too sad to see his even sadder face.
Though before anyone got too long to become extremely down in the dumps for our soon to be missing classmate Aizawa announced one crucial piece of information, "I lied."
Despite his monotone demeanor I could see the giddy of messing with our hearts in his eyes.
I looked around at everyone else to see their reactions to the deception, everyone had a shocked look on their face.
That's when I made eye contact with Kaminari. We stared at each other before I inched my way towards him.
"How fucked is that?" I whispered, just close enough for him to hear. I know we only met this morning on accident I needed to talk to someone about this.
"Extremely," His voice was just as quiet, his stare lingered just at me for a second before switching back to the class, "Your quirk is pretty cool you know? Kinda would be a sick power move mixed with mine."
The conversation switched and I was forced to fall back to the blonde's power. Electricity.
"Could be super cool, could be devasting to one of our bodies," I spoke with sincerity, everyone knows water and electricity do not mix, especially when someone is touching it, "But i like yours too."
I finished my statement as we were dismissed from school for the day, but before either of us could say anything else Sero grabbed Kaminari and walked away.
