Is it too late?

Chapter 3

A light breeze came through an open window as the sun shine through a crack in the curtains as the wind blew them. Ashley shot up in her bed, panting as if she'd just ran a marathon!
"It....was....just...a...dream" Ashley said to herself as she lay back.
"But.... that could happen at anytime within these 3-4months..... " She said as she reached for her bucket list but instead finding a note..
"Ashley,
Didn't want to wake you, when you do wake up I'm in the cafeteria trying to find Jay. The docs said you could come over here so yeah
See ya in a bit amigo
Tilly x" Ashley said as she read the note to herself, smiling.
She slowly got out of her bed, picked up her spare clothes and walked over to her bathroom to get changed. Everything felt so heavy like she was as big as an elephant! She looked in the mirror, she nodded and said
"Not that bad" as she pushed her hair into a better position.
She quickly got dressed, walked back to her room and took the medicine which were on her bedside table. Then she walked out of her room and over to the cafeteria.
Tillys Pov
As soon as I saw Ashley walk in the room I rushed over to her with the numbers of five different Jay Worthers!
"LOOK ASH LOOK!" I shouted as she shook her head and took the sheet. Her eyes lit up with excitement as she said
"OMG YOU ARE AMAZING" as she flung her arms around my neck. After we ended the hug I said
"I know " and flicked my hair receiving a eye roll from Ashley.
"Lets go outside and call them!" I said but Ashley looked scared.
"Um Till, am I allowed out?" she asked.
"Yeah" I lied, she needed to forget all that and have some fun! I pulled her up and we ran outside and sat on the park grass. I pulled out my phone putting in the first number, ringing it, then passing it to Ashley.
"Hello?" Ashley said.
"Um well I'm actually trying to find a boy that went to my school called Jay and I was wondering if I could maybe ask you a few questions?" She said.
"Okay. So how old are you?"
"28? No that doesn't fit. I'm sorry for taking up your time bye bye?" She said as she hung up the phone and sighed.
This might not be as easy as I first thought.
