3 weeks later Angels POV
My mom took me dress shopping for my surprise tonight. I was really excited and couldn't wait to find out what it was.

Everywhere we went, I tried to take my time, just so the hours would pass by faster, but it didn't seem to help much. Time seemed to be going by slower, instead of faster.

I was getting more and more anxious. I tried distracting myself, by finding a really nice dress, but the thought of the reason why I was doing this, kept coming to me.

I whined to myself. "Mom, please tell me what the surprise is, I'm dying of anxiety just wanting to know." I said to my mom for like the tenth time today.

"Sorry baby, but I can't. You're dad asked me not to say anything, and to keep you distracted till 5pm. You still have five hours to go." She said, not budging for even a second.

I groaned, this is torture. "Please mom. I won't tell dad you told me, but I have to know."

"Nope. Now stop asking, or I'll tell your dad to cancel your surprise."

I gasped. "You wouldn't." I said, a bit hurt that she said that.

"If you don't stop asking, I will." She said, in a very serious way. I'm really starting to hate surprises now. This is seriously ruining it for me.

I just groaned to myself, and didn't say anything to my mom after that. I did find a dress I liked, so I gave it to her, and walked away.

"Angel! Where are you going?!" I heard my mom say, as she chased after me.

I sighed, I didn't want to talk to her, or be around her. I have no other choice but to speak to her right now, though. "I'm going outside, so I can be alone." I said, then I went outside, and waited for my mom to come back out.

When she did, she didn't look happy at all. But I could care less. I'm upset with her.
"I called your dad, and told him about the way you are acting. He's not happy about this. I want to know why you are acting this way."

"Because, I don't like having to wait, to find out what the surprise is. The anxiety is killing me. I can't handle it any longer, and then you saying that you would have my dad cancel the surprise, upset me. I've been looking forward to this, since this morning, and you saying that, hurt me." I said, starting to cry. I saw my mom's mood change from upset, to sad. She must not have realized what she said, upset me. But, she should've, when my mood changed after what she said.

"I'm sorry Angel. I didn't mean that literally. I just wanted you to stop asking what the surprise was. I'm sorry I upset you. I didn't mean it. Please forgive me." She said, as she held her arms out, for me to hug her.

I sighed and hugged her. I really wanted to be hugged anyways. "I forgive you mom, but you need to remember, that I'm very sensitive, especially to certain words. Please just, don't say things like that to me. It really hurts me."

"I will, I promise, and I'll talk to your dad about this, so he doesn't get on to you, ok?"

"Ok." Was all I said, then we left the store, and went to go eat lunch. I chose Golden Corral since there was one here in town, and we spent about an hour and a half there. We still had a lot of time left, before we could go back to the bus.

When we left Golden Corral, we decided to drive around for a bit, since neither of us knew what to do. Eventually, it was time to go back to the bus. Which I was thankful for.
