"Where are you going?" You asked.
"Out with some friends." Your boyfriend replayed.
You felt sad, since you came here to spend some time with him.
"Why can't you just stay here with me?" You asked in a soft tone.
"I'll be back soon." he said.
"Please, H/n. I just wanna spend some time with you, b-" you started, but he cut you off.
"God, Y/n! I said I'll be back, okay?! See you later." he said and left, without a kiss or a hug.
You felt tears forming in your eyes. "I don't think there's later...l love you, H/n," you whispered, while a tear rolled down your cheek.
~ Time skip ~
H/n didn't get back until the morning, "Y/n?" He called out, walking toward his room. He opened his door to see no one.
"Baby?" He said again.
Still, you didn't respond. He saw a letter on his bed. Getting it, he sat down on his bed.
"Dear H/n, by the time you're reading this, I'm no longer gonna be here...l'm sorry if I made you upset by telling you to stay. I just wanted you to stay and spend time with me because I didn't have much time left... H/n, the truth is I have lung cancer and I only had 8 hours until my time ran out. Well this is it, all my time has come to an end. I love you H/n, a lot. Stay safe!"
H/n started shaking as tears started forming in his eyes. One of them escaped and rolled down his cheek.
"No..NO FUCK!" He shouted and punched the nearest wall.
"She can't be gone." he whispered and ran out of his room.
H/n ran to your house and knocked on the door. Your mom opened the door. He looked at her eyes, his heart skipping upon noticing its red color and puffiness. So it's true..
"No.." he said before breaking down. He fell onto his knees. Your mom let out a sob and held him.
"Shh, it's okay, H/n...she's still with us. Always will be." Your mom said.
"I didn't spend time with her...I'm an idiot!" he sobbed out, crying even harder.
He looked up at the sky and said "I love you Y/n..."
