[L x reader] ...I'm stuck with Light RQ

A/N [y/f/n] means your fake name, you and L are the only ones who know each others real name.

"Ryūzaki-kuuun~" you called as you walked into the kira investigation headquarters. When you didn't see him in front of the monitors you got really confused. 'hmmm he's usually here eating his sweets and basically stalking light-kun' There currently wasn't anyone in the room so you decided to take a seat and wait for someone to come into the room. For some reason it never occurred to you to actually look at the monitors and find him. 

After a few minutes of waiting Matsuda walked into the room. "Masuda-San!" He didn't recognize you so he almost jumped four feet into the air. Once he realized it was you though he noticeably relaxed. "ohayo [y/f/n]-san, if you're looking for Ryūzaki, he's on a date." 'wait what?! I'm his girlfriend. obviously no one knows about it since it could put me in danger but still, he wouldn't cheat on me... right? play it cool. just ask who he's with.' "oh, really? with whom might I ask?" "Light a-" "wait, Ryūzaki-kun and Light-kun are gay? I thought Light-kun had a thing with Misa-chan." "My son's gay?" oh, wow, great timing Yagami-san... greaaaat timing.

"Yagami-san, no, your son isn't gay. [y/f/n]-san I wasn't able to finish my sentence. Ryūzaki is on a date with Light and Misa-chan in her room." hr made sure to put emphasis on the and"As long as my son isn't gay" was the last thing Yagami-san said before walking away muttering under his breath about wanting grand children.

Matsuda was about to walk away when you called out. "Matsuda-san wait" he eagerly turned around silently  hoping that you were gonna ask him to go out (which you didn't don't worry) "Why is Ryūzaki-kun third wheeling on their date?" A hurt expression crossed Matsuda's before he replied and walked away "He handcuffed himself to light" 'ohhh so that's why he's not here, I guess I can join them'  you thought to yourself as you started walking towards the elevator.

You opened the door to Misa-chans room. "Sweets are fattening, so I try not to eat them too much" you heard a high voice say 'obviously that's Misa'  "If you use your head, you can still eat sweets without gaining weight" you smirked, of course that was your boyfriend. Who else would say that? You though it was a good time to join so you casually walked in saying Hi when you were tackled in a hug. it was Misa. "[Y/f/N]-chaaaaaan Ryūzaki is making fun of me again" she complained, crossing her arms. You lightly chuckled telling her that you heard it, causing her to pout even more. 

"Ryūzaki-kun~" you called as you came up behind him and ate the cake from the fork he was about to put in  his mouth. His eyes softened when you smiled at him. "let's go to the sweets shop together~" he had a hint of a smile on his face when you said that to him and he was about to say yes when he realized a few things. a) He's still handcuffed to Light, so they won't be alone. b) He still suspects Light and thinks that if Light found out Ryūzaki was dating you he might try to kill you off. c) Misa will want to tag along if Light is coming. He was fretting over all this and you noticed, you leaned into his ear and whispered something that only he could hear

"Light doesn't know my real name Lawliet, He can't kill me off and I really wanna tell them that we're together. Actually I wanna tell everyone, especially Matsuda, he won't leave me alone, can we please tell them?" He gave you a look of surprise and gave you a tiny nod, you smiled and pecked his lips. "But we still can't go to the sweets shop, I'm stuck with light..." "yea I noticed, let's go when you're finally separated, but you owe me a [favourite sweet] ok?" "of course. I love you [y/n]"  "I love you Lawliet"

Light and Misa heard some snippets of your conversation (just the part where you both said 'I love you' to each other, but they didn't hear either of your names)"Liiiiight, why don't you ever tell me you love me"

"it's because I don't love you Misa"

"Light you're so mean" Misa complained, "stop joking around and tell me you love me"

"I love you" Misa turned around happily cause she heard the words but soon realized it was you and L talking together, and Light was no where to be found (he was behind the couch... how did you not see him Misa?!) 

She looked at you two cuddling and feeding each other cake and she smiled. 'I'm so happy for [y/f/n]'
