It didn't really take long for Jisung to realize what the world had actually come to.

When the outbreak first happened, it was almost like he was dreaming. He clearly saw what people had turned to, but he was not all there when it first came to be. Zombies was always the thing he saw on television but when he saw the hands being dug into people's stomachs and heard the blood curling screams, he actually realized.

But of course, he really only came back to reality when Jeongin was bit. Then he realized that the world was at the final rate which he could call reality. He remembered being dragged by Chan trying to get out of their house onto the road where tooth rotting, brain eating zombies walked, reaching their dead limbs out to whatever human they could grab onto so they could finally sink their hands into somebody's body.

And everybody that had survived was left to wonder what reason caused this mess. This couldn't even be called a mess. Jisung would like to think that each day that he wakes up or gets through that maybe it's one step closer to the world changing—like a miracle. But of course, that wouldn't happen, how does a flesh-eating walker change back to a human? Its heart won't go back to normal; it won't breathe again. Now, Jisung had to live everyday knowing that he wouldn't be able to go out to dinner with his family, talk to his closet friends, he wouldn't be able to live a normal life again.

He was not meant to be slicing walker's heads off of their bodies, shooting a bullet into their skull, no one was meant to do such a horrendous thing. For the while that the world was being run over by the dead, he wasn't meant to do such brutal things. In his group he actually had people that could easily do such a thing.

Minho was fit for something like this. It didn't make him brutal; he knew what to do. He was prepared for a thing like the world ending, he knew how to handle it. Easily, he could lift up a gun and shoot a walker, he already knew they were dead so shouldn't it be easier to shoot them?

Jisung couldn't shoot someone that was trying to get him, dead or alive. In this case, he couldn't even shoot a dead walker, but he still did it acting like it was the easiest thing in the world. He was not like Seungmin who could easily swing his weapon and watch as the walker's own sliced off of his neck. But that didn't make him a bad person for not being able to do those things. Did it make him look weak though? Jisung knew he wasn't supposed to look weak in a situation like this, and oh he tried not to.

Walking the long, ghostly street, he finally could think about what he hadn't thought about when the world decided to shut down. Maybe now he could think about something good, something that didn't make him tired of living in a sinful world, something that made him feel happy to actually keep walking around the abandoned earth.

His heavy boots thudded against the rocky ground each time he moved behind Chan and the others. His tired lidded eyes moved over to the back of Minho's head and when the older turned to look at Changbin, hitting his friend's shoulder with his hand, all tiredness washed away from him.

Now, he knew and saw the reason of why he kept standing on this exhausted earth.

Both Jisung and Felix walked over to the rest of the group who were surrounding Hyunjin on the ground. They were talking just five minutes ago and got interested when they noticed the other's with Hyunjin. Felix looked down to see Seungmin wrapping a bandage around Hyunjin's noticeably bloody hand and everyone else just was just watching it.

"How he get that big cut?" Felix asked, tapping on his boyfriend's shoulder watching as Changbin turned his head over to the blonde.

"From being a dumb piece of shi—" Changbin slapped the back of Minho's head before his friend could say anything else.

He stood up and looked back down at Hyunjin. "He was cutting something with his knife and sliced his hand."

"Yeah, like a dumbass." Minho shrugged his shoulders, shooting up to his feet.

Jisung watched as Seungmin finished wrapping up the wound with a pat on Hyunjin's arm. Hyunjin sighed and crossed his arms with a huge frown as he looked at Minho who was already looking at him.

"Why are you always calling me a dumbass? I'm not the one that got his ass beat by Chan because of what you did to Jisung." Hyunjin scoffed and stood up along with the others.

Minho scrunched his nose together. He took a step closer to Hyunjin and placed his hand on the man's shoulder shaking his head.

"You bring something up like that again and that cut won't be the only injury you have on you." Minho whispered, head still shaking. Hyunjin nodded slowly with a huff, feeling Chan scrunch at his shoulders and hearing the laughs from Seungmin and Jisung.

"That was pretty funny." Jisung whispered, lips forming a smile whenever Minho turned around to look at him, cheeks darkening just for a simple sentence.

To hide how he started blushing, Minho just shamelessly shrugged, a slight smirk painting his features.

"I'm just a funny person, I know how to make people laugh." He mumbled in response. Jisung smiled before walking past Minho so he could look at Hyunjin's bandaged hand.

His hand grabbed the older's hand and traced around the bandage.

"You really sliced your hand with a knife." Jisung hummed, letting go of Hyunjin's hand and watching as the dark-haired man nodded slowly.

"I was trying to slice through something and my hand just like flinched or something..." He rubbed the back of his neck.

As they both talked, Seungmin appeared right next to Minho when he noticed the older's eyes set on both Hyunjin and Jisung.

"Do you get jealous that easily?" He suddenly asked, capturing what was once Minho's occupied attention.

Minho jerked his head over to Seungmin and out of instinct, he raised his hand to slap the back of the younger's head, but his hand slowly fell with a roll of his eyes.

"Why would I be jealous? Over Jisung and Hyunjin, they're just talking." He muttered.

Seungmin looked at the other two who continued to talk. "Because I'm not blind dummy. I know you have some type of feeling for Jisung, you guys literally fucked." This time he got a harsh slap on his head.

"Or you were just really horny...." He stepped away when he received another slap by Minho.

"You need to learn how to shut your mouth." Minho pointed his finger to Seungmin harshly.

Seungmin just shrugged not really knowing what else to say after that. Minho rubbed his hair back with a shake of his head.

"I said what I said." He whispered.

"Fine, maybe you should admit that your head over heels for Hyunjin." Minho barked back. Seungmin gasped with pure irritation.

"I am not! I swear to god Lee Minho, just wait for the day until I beat the shit out of you!" Seungmin kicked his foot to the older.

A snicker flew from Minho's lips as he stepped back.

"With the help of your boyfriend?"

Seungmin balled his hands together, turning around right after.

"That's it, where's my weapon."
