I feel like shit. I'm wearing two hoodies and I can't fucking sleep. I'm hoping I can get a day off tomorrow. Anyway with this spare time I'm going to be productive and write this.

Y/n's pov.

Leah hasn't asked again about the nightmares. I know she hears me in the middle of the night. Maybe I should e told her, got some help. Nah, I don't need help.

I've also been allowed to get homeschooled online. The only problem with that is I have to do the work. Leah full-on forces me. It's pkay though because I normally do it when she's training, so a few of the girls help me.

At my old school, I could just refuse to do the work, and they gave up trying. I fully gave up with French halfway through year eight. Haven't done a single thing in it since. Luckily, I don't have to do languages now.

Still have to do science and maths, though. Leah helps me with maths cause she's a right nerd, but no one I've talked to is any good at science. I just use Google for that.

Another good thing about this is that I now have a bunch of free time because I can get through my work quicker. As well as the thing on my laptop, which reads everything out to me. I'm a very slow reader.

'Y/n, will you stop with that stupid person reading everything out? It's giving me a headache.' Leah shouts from the kitchen.

We are at home since she's off today.

Probably should have told her I'm rubbish at reading. My bad.

'Not really, Le.' I reply guilt evident in my voice.

'Why not?' She asks, this time in a much nicer way.

'Erm, I'm not good at reading.' I'm surprised she even heard that, I barely whispered it.

She must have done though because she walks into the living room and sits next to me, wrapping an arm around my shoulder.

'Why didn't you say so, I can always help you.' She tells me, rubbing my shoulder. 'Well, not when I'm in training, but when we are at home, I can.'

'I didn't want you to think I'm stupid or something. It's not like I can't read, I'm just slow at it.' I tell her, leaning into her chest.

All this comfort and shit is nice. I wish I had it earlier in life.

'That's okay.' She reassures mewrapping her other arm around my waist. 'Wait, so why do you always have subtitles on the things you watch?' She asks.

'Help me read faster. It works too, I used to read like a word I minute.' I chuckle softly.

Mum and dad never bothered that I was shit at reading, so it was the closest thing to any help.

'Nice trick.' She tells me, kissing my forehead. 'Oh, I have some exciting news.' She squealed, releasing me from her grip.

'Well, you're gonna have to sign that because I've just gone deaf.' I joke with her.

'Anyway, so it's an international break next week, and I was talking to Sarina.' She pauses for a second, trying to contain her excitement. 'She said that you can come with me and that you're welcome any time.' She smiles like mad.

Honestly, I thought I'd have to stay here on my own when she went off.

'Mate, that's sick.' I say, jumping back into her arms.

'You still have to do your school work, though.' She says, jokingly pointing her finger at me.

'Well, yeah, obviously.' I scoff. I was secretly hoping she would let me off, but I guess it's not that bad.
